Adolescent Immunization Action Week (#AIAW26) is built around a simple idea: start the conversation. We’re proud to partner with Unity Consortium to help build resources that make it easier for adolescents, young adults, and families to ask questions, find trusted information, and stay informed about recommended vaccines. We got the convo started. Help keep it going. See what we’ve been working on and explore resources: https://lnkd.in/eVWFuVzi #NotAnAgency* #NationalPublicHealthWeek #PublicHealth #Client

When HISP began working with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance in 2018, only 7 of 54 Gavi-supported countries had integrated immunization data into their national health systems. Today, that number is 40. Our team at the HISP Centre at University of Oslo reflects on eight years of partnership, including what works, what doesn't, and what comes next for country-led, data-driven immunization delivery. https://buff.ly/Am15drj #DHIS2 #GlobalHealth #Immunization #VaccinesWork #DigitalHealth #HealthData #ZeroDose #VaccineEquity

From vaccine tracking gaps to smart, timely reminders. This is where immunization systems need to evolve. Today, many children miss doses not due to lack of access—but due to missed follow-ups, fragmented records, and absence of timely nudges. At WOMBTO18 Integrated Care, we are closing this gap with intelligence. Our platform enables: ✔️ Real-time vaccine tracking across life stages ✔️ Automated reminders for parents and schools ✔️ Continuous, longitudinal immunization records Turning missed opportunities into timely action. Because in immunization, timing is everything. And systems must ensure that no child is left behind. #ImmunizationWeek #WombTo18 #VaccineTracking #SmartHealth #ChildHealth #PreventiveCare #HealthTech #Immunization #PublicHealth Sowjanya Reddy Anurag Mohanty Sambit Kumar Mohanty Soumya KP Jeet Gupta Rohith Y. As we observe World Immunization Week (April 24-30), I am reflecting on the theme: "For every generation, vaccines work." Vaccines represent one of the greatest achievements in public health history, having saved approximately 150 million lives. Despite this progress, the challenge persists: in 2024, 20 million children worldwide missed out on at least one essential vaccine dose. As a healthcare professional and leader, I believe our responsibility is three-fold: 1. Education: Promoting data-driven, scientific awareness. 2. Advocacy: Addressing vaccine hesitancy through open, transparent dialogue. 3. Action: Encouraging families to make informed, evidence-based decisions for their health. Safeguarding future generations is a collective mandate. Let us continue to strengthen our immunization systems to ensure no child is left behind. #WorldImmunizationWeek #VaccinesWork #GlobalHealth #PublicHealthPolicy #IAP #Immunization #HealthcareLeadership #ProfYogeshNParikh

On the occasion of 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 (𝟮𝟰–𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹), 𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, While coverage has improved, the focus must now shift towards complete schedule adherence, lifecycle immunization, and closing missed gaps. At HPHF, we promote "𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁" approaches to identify underserved populations, enable continuity of care, and ensure that no individual is left unprotected. Because effective immunization is not just about reach—it is about completion. #WorldImmunizationWeek #VaccinesWork #HealthSystems #PublicHealth #HPHF

The American Osteopathic Association joins more than 130 organizations in expressing concern over recent changes to the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) charter. The revised charter introduces changes that could undermine confidence in vaccines and affect access to life-saving immunizations. We support a rigorous, science-driven process that prioritizes public health. Read the full statement: https://lnkd.in/gZcV8eif

The EiP report on Immunization and Vaccination Equity, developed from the December 2025 LifeCourse Prevention Summit, examines why significant inequities in vaccination uptake persist across populations and sets out concrete actions to address them. From data blind spots and structural barriers to trust, community engagement, and policy reform, the report brings together evidence and perspectives from across public health, clinical practice, social science, and civil society. This #Immunization & #Vaccination #Equity report by Excellence in Pediatrics Institute synthesises a range of issues presented in expert briefings at the 2025 gathering in Paris. It offers some important implications for public health agencies. I was happy to inject some social science perspectives on #religion & how this isn't a barrier to vaccination per se but does shape under-vaccination through social organisation, authority structures & gendered networks. And importantly, 'culturally appropriate' approaches can reinforce the inequities that they seek to address (even if designed with the best of intentions). Vaccination equity is a question of system design and inequities in uptake remain predictable, patterned outcomes of how systems are built, measured, and experienced. The EiP report on Immunization and Vaccination Equity examines the evidence and sets out concrete actions to address this. Proud to share our work from the Excellence in Pediatrics Institute.
