India runs one of the largest immunization programs in the world. Yet, millions of children still miss essential doses every year. Not because vaccines aren’t available. But because tracking isn’t continuous. Records get fragmented. Follow-ups get missed. And children fall through the gaps. This is the immunization gap. At WOMBTO18 Integrated Care, we are building systems to close it. Our integrated vaccine intelligence platform ensures: ✔️ End-to-end dose tracking—from birth to school years ✔️ Automated alerts for parents and schools ✔️ Longitudinal health records that don’t get lost Because immunization is not a one-time campaign. It is a continuous lifecycle. And closing the gap requires systems that don’t stop. 👉 Join us in building uninterrupted immunization coverage- #ImmunizationWeek #WombTo18 #ImmunizationGap #ChildHealth #PreventiveCare #VaccineTracking #HealthTech #PublicHealth Sowjanya Reddy Anurag Mohanty Sambit Kumar Mohanty Soumya KP Jeet Gupta Rohith Y. From Vaccine Tracking Gaps to Smart Reminders—it’s time to reimagine how we approach immunization in India. While vaccines save millions of lives each year, gaps in tracking and follow-ups mean many children still miss critical doses. Missed records, lack of timely reminders, and fragmented systems often turn prevention into a challenge. But change is possible. With the integration of digital health solutions, real-time tracking, and smart reminder systems, we can ensure that every child stays on track with their immunization schedule—no matter where they live. At Wombto18 Foundation, we are committed to leveraging innovation to bridge these gaps—because timely vaccination shouldn’t depend on chance, but on a system that works for everyone. The future of immunization is not just access—it’s continuity, accountability, and care. #WorldImmunizationWeek #VaccinesWork #DigitalHealth #ImmunizationForAll #ChildHealth #HealthTech #Wombto18Foundation #SmartHealthcare #HealthEquity Sowjanya Reddy Anurag Mohanty Sambit Kumar Mohanty Soumya KP Jeet Gupta Rohith Y. World Immunization Week: Protecting Generations, Building a Healthier Pakistan As we mark World Immunization Week, we reflect on nearly two decades of commitment, resilience, and impact. At the Community Health Directorate (CHD), we believe protecting a child today safeguards the health of generations to come. Since The Indus Hospital (IHHN) launched immunization services in 2007, our mission has remained steadfast: to provide life-saving protection for children under two and pregnant women. What began at our Korangi campus has grown into a strategic, multi-provincial program in partnership with the governments of Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan. Today, this integrated immunization program reaches communities through: ✅ 26 Primary Care (PCP) Sites delivering routine immunization services close to home ✅ Mobile Health Units extending services to the “last mile” communities ✅ 3 Tertiary Care Facilities ensuring mothers and children leave our care protected From inception to February 2026, IHHN has immunized 1,475,202 children and women, a milestone that reflects our shared commitment to prevention and healthier futures. By integrating immunization into primary care, we are doing more than delivering vaccines; we are strengthening communities, protecting generations, and helping build a healthier Pakistan, because vaccines work. #WorldImmunizationWeek #ForEveryGeneration #PublicHealth #HealthEquity #IHHN #CHD #VaccinesWork #PakistanHealth #RoutineImmunization #StrategicHealth

For every generation, vaccines work—but only when systems work for people. This #WorldImmunizationWeek, we’re shining a light on the systems behind every vaccine delivered. From health workers and community volunteers to supply chains and trusted conversations, immunization doesn’t happen by accident—it happens by design. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, VillageReach is working alongside governments and communities through an approach to strengthen routine immunization, so services are responsive, reliable and reach children who have too often been left out. 💡 When immunization systems are designed around people’s needs, vaccines can protect every generation, no matter where they live. 📽️ Watch how this work comes to life in communities: https://bit.ly/4uHKpb8 #WorldImmunizationWeek #VaccinesWork #ForEveryGeneration #Immunization #GlobalHealth #HealthEquity #CommunityHealth #VillageReach #WIW2026

Strengthening Zimbabwe’s Future Through Immunization As we observe World Immunization Week, the CWGH emphasizes that vaccines are a critical tool for human capital development. The theme "For every generation, vaccines work" highlights that immunization is a cross-cutting necessity - from pediatric care to adult health. To sustain our health gains, we advocate for: i) Strategic Resource Allocation: Ensuring the national budget reflects the urgency of vaccine procurement and distribution. ii) Public-Private Partnerships: Collaborative efforts to reach 100% immunization coverage. iii) Community Accountability: Empowering local leaders to champion vaccination uptake. Investments in vaccines today prevent the high costs of disease outbreaks tomorrow. Let’s work together for a resilient, immunized Zimbabwe. #WorldImmunizationWeek #HealthSystems #VaccineEquity #ZimbabweHealth #EconomicDevelopment

Reaching the missed remains one of the most persistent challenges in immunization. In Pakistan, vaccines are available, yet gaps in coverage continue to leave children unprotected. When children are missed, the risk of preventable diseases remains, making it critical to strengthen how immunization is delivered. At Rayn, we have supported efforts to improve how immunization activities are tracked, understood, and acted upon. By strengthening systems through the use of technology, and enabling frontline workers with better visibility and access to timely data, teams are able to identify missed areas, respond to gaps, and reach children who were previously left out. This World Immunization Week, we reflect on the importance of strengthening systems with technology to ensure no one is left behind. #Rayn #RaynForPublicHealth #PublicHealth #WorldImmunizationWeek #EquityInHealth #ZeroDose #VaccinesWork #TechForHealth World Health Organization UNICEF Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance Gates Foundation UNICEF Pakistan

What happens when caregivers do everything right — and children still miss vaccines? VillageReach’s cross-country research on 9-month vaccination identified a critical challenge across Nigeria, Malawi, Pakistan and the DRC: many caregivers intend to vaccinate their children, but health system barriers make follow-through difficult. The findings reveal how long gaps between appointments, stock uncertainty, transport costs, limited reminders and restrictive vial-opening practices can turn delays into dropouts. In many cases, caregivers made multiple attempts before giving up. The research also highlights what helps: ✔️ Trusted health workers and CHWs ✔️ Clear reminders with practical next steps ✔️ Respectful communication ✔️ Reliable vaccine availability ✔️ Flexible, community-centered service delivery Strong immunization systems are built not only on vaccines, but on reliability, trust and services designed around caregivers’ realities. 📘 Explore the findings from the Late Infancy Immunization Study: https://bit.ly/48muzsS #VaccinesWork #Immunization #GlobalHealth #HealthSystems #CommunityHealth #VillageReach SCIDaR - Solina Centre for International Development and Research Gates Foundation Impetus Scope Impact
