About us
Upland Brewing Co, has been brewing ales, lagers, and sours in Bloomington, Indiana since 1998. Many of our brews are unique twists on traditional recipes, while others are products of our own imaginations. We’re proud to say that several of our beers have brought home national and international medals and awards, but what we really care about is brewing the kinds of beer we like to drink, and providing a fresh local option to our communities. It never hurts to get a pat on the back, though! Along the way, we’ve made lots of friends and drank our unfair share of good beer, all while trying to do good in our communities and do well as a craft brewery.

We have been overjoyed with the response and love we have received after Coach Cignetti's comments. At the beginning of the season, Coach mentioned enjoying a beer after games, so we figured there was no better choice than beer made right here in Bloomington, Indiana. We sent some over to Coach and his staff, and since then we have sent beer with the team every game and have been honored to be a part of their post-game tradition. Coach Cignetti giving us a shoutout in his the presser after the National Championship was more than we could have ever asked for and we are so thankful that Coach showed his appreciation for a Bloomington original. We had a fantastic time last week judging the case competition for Gen. AI Club at Indiana University. Stefan and his team did a terrific job understanding our industry and providing recommendations for Upland's future, as it relates to connecting with new audiences and the use of AI. Bravo to "Hophaus Consulting" and thank you to ALL teams who participated. Hearing from passionate students gives us a new and exciting perspective. Cheers!
I had a fulfilling experience participating in a case competition hosted this past weekend by Gen. AI Club at Indiana University in collaboration with Upland Brewing Company, a local Bloomington business! Here we designed marketing campaigns, developed new product prototypes, and analyzed Upland's own data to create recommendations for how Upland can be more efficient. We also gained valuable insight into how the brewing industry is evolving to accomodate shifting consumer tastes, particularly among younger generations. It led us to a 2nd place finish! Big thanks to Gen AI and Upland for putting on such a thorough event, as well as to Aneeksha Devineni, Shravya Raj, Alexander Zuniga, and Maulik Deulkar for a positive and collaborative project environment!
