Quantum is quickly moving from long-term theory to practical telecom experimentation. Great to see the progress being made through the collaboration between QCentroid and the #GSMA Foundry, exploring how quantum and hybrid quantum-classical approaches could help operators tackle increasingly complex network challenges. From network anomaly detection and predictive maintenance to energy optimisation and small cell placement, these are real operational problems where scalability, efficiency, and automation matter. As networks become more distributed, intelligent, and dynamic, it’s important for the industry to understand where quantum computing may eventually deliver meaningful value beyond the hype.
