Transition from BT to EE has been an…

Transition from BT to EE has been an experience. Cannot log in to my EE ID as password not known and new mobile # not transferred. New TV contract agreed, new replacement router etc insisted by EE sent despite telling EE I already have them. They arrived, BT engineer said you already have them installed so now sent back. Still waiting to resolve EE ID.

Engineer was booked

Engineer was booked, new equipment ordered but no confirmation. Speaking to BT, was informed nothing ordered or booked so BT took over. Still at a loss as to who I am dealing with and is this a review for BT who are scheduled to visit this week and have delivered equipment but not a new TV box as the most recent communication with BT is that I do not need a replacement, not what BT said 2 weeks ago. Totally confused.

Trousers ordered were 38 W

Trousers ordered were 38 W, 29L. The label on the trousers state the same but in trying them on, the waist can only be 32 to 34 and leg must be 34 to 36. I now have to go to my local Sports direct shop to return, more hassle.

Really good selection and good quality. Replaced a cap that was 20 years old and faded, also bought 2nd cap, both delivered in good time. Have introduced your website to friends and at least one has bought another cap. Cheaper than going to America.

Delivery delays

Delivery details advised promptly but gin and whiskey order was split. Whiskey arrived within 5 days but the gin arrived after 10 days; Royal Mail Parcel Force delivered the gin at Hounslow, Middlesex sorting office on the Friday at 01:00, we received it 4 days later in Surrey. IoR very good but RMPF could do a lot better.

I investigated various sites for this…

I investigated various sites for this product, it was cheaper on another site by about £30 but typically 'out of stock'. FFX is listed as a DeWalt supplier so decided to pay the extra for 'in stock' delivery. No delivery charge as order was over £200, confirmation of order was instant and delivery occurred within a few days. Very happy with the service and have looked at all the other items FFX can supply. Regarding the cheaper website, is this typical of quoting cheaper but cannot supply. Impact driver is wonderful.

Dyson flexible tube

Dyson flexible tube. Contacted Dyson, vacuum now obsolete. When phoning them, was in a queue for 20 minutes so gave up, emailed them as their web site did not show part. Dyson came back a day later saying they could not supply the part so would I like to buy a new vacuum. Contacted Partmaster, their website showed the part, bought 2 and got within 4 days, fantastic. Fitted and vacuum working like new. Have used Partmaster before and will use again. 100% recommended.

Updating shower

Were updating our bathroom after 17 years, the thermostatic valve still works fine after all these years. Now, in updating the bathroom I broke the plastic nut on the 22mm outlet. This required a new nut but also a gripper ring. To get these parts took 3 attempts. Once arrived, great, fortunately I was in no rush. I have also now purchased a new shower head, ordered Sunday arrived Tuesday, fantastic . Spares website looks comprehensive but astonished at some of the costs, shower head cartridge at £50 odd pounds complete head approaching a ton.
