Very disappointed with the sales team. I wanted to move my son’s mobile to EE as the coverage from the other network is not good in our area. I completed the order online and had to call them to confirm the checks, as I am paying for the plan. When I called, the sales team confirmed that the checks were okay, but we are NOT good enough for a monthly plan without a contract, yet we are good enough to go on a 24-month contract at double the price. ??!! Customer service, “0” stars from me.
Having to change all passwords and EE ID to much like hard work I would have preferred to have got the new hub

I have been an EE customer for over 10 years but with their prices going up and up, I contacted customer service online (for convenience) as I found a better package with LycaMobile for £5 p/m instead of the £32.50 I have been paying. I was offered a cheaper, contracted (which I don’t want) deal but tried to ask several times for the process of leaving. I was sent templates that EE used, sporadically over the course of 1hr 30 minutes but when I was asking questions regarding direct debit and payments, I was categorically told I could not have the answers to my questions until AFTER they disconnected my line. I asked these basic questions to be escalated to a manager three times, and this was refused.
There doesn’t seem to be transparency here and should not take 1hr 30 minutes to get nowhere.
