Brake System Technology: our product portfolio is being build to support the future of mobility!! #aumovio #brakesystem #brakebywire #drybrake #oneboxsolution #electricparkingbrake
Following the path to innovation. 🚀 Our brake system roadmap follows our traditional wet-braking solutions to our latest technologies and ultimately to a full-dry brake system. Guided by customer requirements, we offer optimized solutions for a wide range of use cases and vehicle architecture. 🔸 Conventional brake systems form the foundation of our roadmap and remain a reliable solution for many applications. 🔸 Building on this, our one box brake system introduced brake‑by‑wire technology with a hydraulic fallback, combining innovation with established safety principles. 🔸 The roadmap continues with a distributed brake system, extending brake-by-wire with either a mechanical or electronic brake pedal. This modular and scalable approach uses two independent actuators to support flexible vehicle integration and fail-operational brake system application. 🔸 With the next generation of semi-dry brake systems, rear-axle braking transitions from fully wet braking to an electromechanical brake (EMB), while the one box solution continues to manage the hydraulic brake system. 🔸 The next logical step is a full-dry brake system, with four EMBs, also replacing hydraulics on the front. Supported by scalable software solutions, this architecture maintains a high level of safety while ensuring driving and braking performance. Join us at EuroBrake 2026, June 1-3 in Mainz, Germany, to discuss the future of brake systems. We look forward to welcoming you at booth 26. What really goes into designing a automotive seat? In this video, Carl Crittenden takes a deep dive into the Cadillac Escalade IQ seat design, unpacking the materials, construction, and engineering decisions that define comfort, durability, and cost. From structural components and foam to trim and integrated electronics, we highlight where Cadillac made smart investments and where added complexity may be introducing unnecessary cost. This teardown is made possible through our partnership with A2MAC1 - Decode the future, which allows us to benchmark various automotive parts and share insights with you! At Munro, this is exactly what we do, helping companies understand product cost, optimize design, and make better engineering decisions through deep teardown analysis and benchmarking. The unique suspension design on this electric model, positioned lower than typically seen, immediately catches the eye. This configuration raises questions about its impact on gravity, trail, and overall ride dynamics. Given its price point under €10,000, understanding the engineering behind this unusual suspension is key to appreciating its performance and handling characteristics. It's a departure from the norm that invites a closer look. #Elektromobilität #E-Mobility #Fahrzeugtechnik #Innovation

DESIGN HIGHLIGHT 2: 2026 STANDARD CHASSIS A full rework of the 2024–25 Standard chassis. Four key upgrades: 1. New custom belt drive system - 570% more yaw torque than last year's standalone yaw motor. Rated for a 15 lb gimbal payload. 2. Redesigned suspension - absorbs shock from 10 mm surface ridges, survives a 200 mm drop test, and maintains traction on 15-degree inclines. 3. Reduced number of parts and design complexity - cuts robot assembly time by 50% compared to last year's chassis; verified during assembly tests. 4. Modular mount for rapid gimbal swapping. Simpler. Stronger. Faster to build. -- Belt Drive Design Engineers: Robert Jiang, Christian Hahn, Varun Venugopal, Salman Qahtani, Rishab Shah, Yupeng Li, Melinda Shen, Raymond Wang, Manah Mohamed, Finley Torrens, Jonathan Ke, Jason Li -- Chassis and Suspension Design Engineers: Anthony Huanca, Farrah Mohamed, Varun Venugopal, Ian Muhieddine, Larry J., Naahur Sajwan, Daegyum Lee, Kaitlyn Tang Stay tuned for more updates. #ARC2026 #Ultraviolet

It’s not about adding more lights. It’s about strategic placement, geometry, and controlled variables working together to influence vehicle perception. Most systems focus primarily on visibility. DualPresence focuses on perception and recognizable vehicle presence within traffic environments. This conceptual illustration is not intended to represent final OEM integration styling. It is intended only to demonstrate how expanded lateral presence may influence motorcycle interpretation within surrounding traffic. DualPresence is patent pending.

Seat comfort is becoming a data problem - and China is setting the pace. FLEXOO and Zhuojun have launched their first joint development project to redefine automotive seat comfort through data‑driven Occupant Classification Systems (OCS). By combining printed seat sensor technology with high‑resolution pressure mapping, the project enables: - individualized occupant classification, - real‑time comfort optimization, and - actionable insights that go far beyond conventional binary OCS approaches. Initial tests show how previously inaccessible data spaces in automotive seating can be transformed into real‑time intelligence - while enabling fast, cost‑efficient integration through ultra‑thin, modular sensor matrices and printed cabling. As expectations rise in the Chinese automotive market, seat comfort is becoming a measurable, performance‑driven differentiator rather than a subjective feature.
