𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 The Training Room AV integration project was undertaken to create a modern and fully integrated collaboration space with advanced audio, video, and control capabilities. The scope included installation and commissioning of a video wall system, QSC audio solutions, ceiling microphones, cameras, network infrastructure, rack integration, and control system configuration. The project focused on delivering a seamless user experience for presentations, training sessions, and hybrid collaboration while ensuring compliance with approved AV designs and site standards. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Precise alignment requirements for the video wall displays, speaker positioning, and ceiling device installations require careful execution. In addition, managing large-scale cable routing, dressing, labeling, and network terminations within the rack demanded detailed planning and systematic implementation. These challenges were addressed through continuous site coordination, phased installation planning, and adherence to approved shop drawings. Structured cable management practices ensure organized rack integration and simplified future maintenance. Device configuration, firmware verification, and connectivity testing were carried out progressively to reduce commissioning delays and ensure smooth system performance. And the final result is a fully integrated and future-ready training room with seamless AV performance. Attended the Nureva Inc. HDX on Tour demo here in Calgary this week—and they’ve got something really interesting. What really stood out to me was the step up in speaker performance. It’s a noticeable evolution from the legacy HDL systems—fuller sound, better clarity, and a more complete in-room experience. Pair that with the simplicity Nureva Inc. is known for—no complex DSP, no intricate mic layouts—and it becomes a very compelling solution for a wide range of spaces. For a lot of meeting rooms and flexible spaces, this could be a very practical solution.
