In recognition of National PEO Week, it’s a great time to highlight the powerful impact Professional Employer Organizations have on small and midsize businesses. PEOs take on critical administrative and HR-related responsibilities like payroll and compliance with state and federal regulations, while also helping businesses create stronger workplaces that attract and retain top talent. This allows leaders to focus on what truly matters- growing their business, supporting their people, and delivering value to their customers. If you’re unfamiliar with how PEOs work, this is a great overview: 👉 https://lnkd.in/g9Nw4Euz PEOs truly make a difference in today’s business environment and the impact isn’t just anecdotal. Businesses that use PEOs... 📈 Grow 2x faster 📉 Have a 12% lower employee turnover rate 🛡️ Are 50% less likely to go out of business 💰 See an average ROI of 27% in cost savings alone (Source: NAPEO) If you’re curious about how a PEO could support your organization or your clients, let’s connect. #NationalPEOWeek #PEO #HumanResources #BusinessGrowth #SMB #Leadership #HRStrategy

If you've ever sat in a partner compensation meeting and held back a view because you weren't sure how it would land, you're not alone. HR leaders in professional services firms are consistently underutilized in partner compensation discussions. Not because their perspective isn't valuable, but because credibility in this space is built differently. Managing Partners consult the people they perceive as well-informed and confident about how their compensation systems work. The good news is that a strong level of understanding is learnable. What has helped you build credibility with senior firm leaders? Follow the link in the comments to take the Partner Compensation Confidence Barometer. It’s a simple tool to help you reflect on your readiness to contribute to partner compensation conversations. #PartnerReward #PartnerCompensation #Confidence

A strong compensation strategy isn’t just about numbers—it’s about alignment. Pay decisions should reflect business strategy, market dynamics, and talent mobility. When organizations invest time in thorough research and consider all factors influencing pay, they create compensation structures that are not only competitive but also sustainable. On the other hand, a poorly defined structure combined with ineffective communication can lead to confusion across levels. This not only impacts internal clarity but also weakens an organization’s ability to attract and retain top talent. Clarity, consistency, and communication are just as important as the compensation itself. #HR #CompensationStrategy #TalentManagement #Leadership #HRPractices

Ever since I joined Landrum, I’ve been asked the same question multiple times: “So what exactly do you do now?” And when I say I work for a PEO (Professional Employer Organization), most of the time I get a polite “Oh, cool!” followed by a look that says they still have no idea what a PEO is. Since this week is National PEO Week, it felt like a good time to do an elevator pitch style post about what I do. In short, Landrum helps business owners simplify the people side of their business. We assist with all things HR, payroll, benefits, talent, compliance, and more. My goal is to make things operationally easier for business owners and their HR teams. While I’m no longer in the hospitality industry, one thing that never changed is enjoying the opportunity to serve people well.
This National PEO Week, we’re celebrating the impact PEOs make every day, helping organizations simplify HR, support their teams, and focus on what’s next. Strong businesses build strong communities. We’re proud to be part of that journey. #NationalPEOWeek

When margins start tightening, adding more tools isn’t the answer. Simplifying is. Forward-thinking businesses are consolidating payroll, HR, benefits, and compliance into one system — not just for convenience, but for control. Because when everything is connected: • decisions happen faster • risks are easier to manage • costs become more predictable • leadership can focus on revenue again This is where a PEO partnership becomes less of a “nice to have”… and more of a strategic move. Not just for growth phases — but for navigating uncertainty with confidence. Stability now creates the foundation for scaling later. If your operations feel fragmented, that’s usually the first sign. #PEO #HRStrategy #BusinessEfficiency #Leadership #ESI
