Greater Austin Pain Center is a growing interventional pain management practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across Central Texas. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Practice Administrator to lead daily operations, support practice growth, and help cultivate an outstanding patient and employee experience.
This is a key leadership role for a highly organized, people-focused professional with strong operational, financial, and team management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Oversee day-to-day practice operations to ensure efficient workflows and excellent patient care
- Manage staff scheduling, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
- Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture
- Monitor practice financial performance, including budgeting, payroll coordination, billing oversight, and expense management
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable healthcare regulations and policies
- Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance patient experience and office efficiency
- Partner with providers and ownership on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and practice development
- Manage vendor relationships, office supplies, and facility operations
- Professionally resolve patient concerns and escalations in a timely manner
- Bachelor’s degree required; Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare administration or medical practice management
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing teams and improving operational performance
- Knowledge of healthcare billing, scheduling systems, EHR/PM software, and insurance workflows
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Financial management and budgeting experience preferred
