SUMMARY

The HR Representative (HR Rep) is responsible for performing HR-related duties at a professional level while partnering closely with the HR Manager and Sr. HRBP to support assigned business units and geographic regions. This role serves as an operational partner to leadership, supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, performance management, and HR operational excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Partnership & Organizational Support

  • Serve as an operational HR partner to assigned departments by conducting regular meetings to understand business needs, workforce challenges, and operational priorities.
  • Provide guidance to leadership on workforce staffing, employee career pathing and development, compensation, and performance management.

Talent Acquisition & Temporary Workforce Management

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management for assigned roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, candidate profiles, and effective sourcing strategies.
  • Manage job postings, applicant pipelines, and recruiting processes to ensure timely hiring outcomes.
  • Coordinate temporary staffing needs, including agency engagement, onboarding, assignment management, performance tracking, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with internal hiring policies and applicable employment laws throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support workforce planning and talent pipeline development to meet current and future business needs.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Promote a positive employee relations environment through consistent application and interpretation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations, counseling, and conflict resolution; recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Support engagement initiatives, including onboarding, recognition programs, and engagement surveys.
  • Manage recognition programs
  • Foster an inclusive environment by participating in the planning and execution of employee-focused events

Talent Management & Workforce Planning

  • Support retention strategies and succession planning processes aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Conducts exit interview processes; analyzes trends and provides actionable insights to management.

Performance, Training & Compensation

  • Administer performance management processes, including goal setting and performance appraisals.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to support employee growth and organizational capability.
  • Support compensation programs to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.

Organizational Structure & Job Design

  • Maintain and update job descriptions and organizational role structures to reflect business needs and alignment.
  • Manages career pathing designed to provide production employee development and advancement opportunities.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and compliant HR records, including personnel files and HRIS data for assigned client groups.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws through monitoring, investigation, and reporting.

Global Mobility & International Support

  • Assist with expatriate assignments and international HR coordination, ensuring compliance and employee support.

Travel & Cross-Site Support

  • Travel periodically to headquarters and branch locations to support HR initiatives and ensure alignment across sites.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 2-5 years of HR experience.
  • Knowledge of HR disciplines, including employee relations, compensation, organizational development, and employment law.

Other Skills

  • Familiarity with Lean principles and value stream organizational models preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, LOA, and workers' compensation processes.

Language Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS/payroll systems.

CERTIFICATIONS

  • SHRM Certification preferred
