This week is the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum, the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization. This year’s theme, “Housing the world: Safe and resilient cities and communities,” reflects the urgent need to address the global housing crisis, but in order to do so, we must understand that the problem isn't just supply — it's rising costs, inequality, and climate vulnerability.
