Before the mats filled San Francisco’s Cityside Park and the morning flow began, Lindsay from Wilson Meany and Magda from Treasure Island Development Group took a moment to enjoy the stunning waterfront space Magda helped bring to life. Now, this vibrant park has become a gathering place for residents and visitors alike — including a weekly Yoga by the Water series with Outdoor Yoga SF. It’s another example of how Treasure Island’s open spaces are designed to foster wellness, connection, and community by the Bay. Come join us Sunday mornings to flow with one of San Francisco’s most inspiring backdrops. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g4rYBYj3 #WilsonMeany #PlaceMaking #TreasureIslandSF #PlacesPeopleLove

San Francisco’s recent recognition as the happiest city in the U.S. speaks to something deeper than rankings, it reflects the power of place. Access to open space, walkable neighborhoods, and meaningful community experiences all play a role in shaping how people live and feel. These are the same principles guiding our work on Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island, where together with Treasure Island Development Group we’re building neighborhoods centered on connection, well-being, and sparking joy around every corner. https://lnkd.in/gMEeJ8H7 Great cities and great communities are built with people in mind. #WilsonMeany #SanFranciscoCA #PlacesPeopleLove

On Treasure Island, community is taking shape in inspiring and unexpected ways. Resident Kaile Tinico, drawing from a background in wildlife biology and a deep curiosity about the natural world, has launched a series of free, community-led nature walks, and the response has been remarkable. From local neighbors to visitors traveling from San Jose to Canada, people are coming together to experience the island through a new lens. These walks explore the expansive new parks with epic skyline views, walking trails, and restored natural areas that will support the ecology of San Francisco Bay. It’s a powerful reminder that even in a newly built neighborhood, nature leads—and community follows. With sights to incorporate more natural landscape in the master plan, an area on the north end of the 400-acre island is reserved for a 98-acre park called The Wilds featuring tidal marshes, walking trails, and restored natural areas that will support the ecology of San Francisco Bay.
