Two weeks later and I am still processing everything from the most incredible experience I have had in 22 years working #events! I am beyond grateful for the partnership between Club Ichi and Swoogo , which afforded me this opportunity. My journey with the #SFR2026 trip started over a year ago when Nicole Osibodu, XOXO and Liz Lathan, CMP approached our Pro Services team to see if we could build their entire brand, registration and event website. We of course said HECK YES!!! Shoutout to the team who made it happen…Guilherme Ruann de Souza, Marielos Diaz, Colleen Ando, and Michael Mahoney for all your incredible work and dedication to make this a success 🙌 Having seen the first reunion take place in 2019 with such awe, I was envious of every confirmed registrant as they came though this time around, not knowing that in the end I would be honored with a seat on that plane ✈️ And for the record, only person on our team knew the location, which she kept to herself all the way through…thanks to Colleen, I found out with everyone else! In the end, I have many memories of delicious meals, adventurous experiences, beautiful sights, and more swag than anyone could imagine. More than this, what made this trip so incredible and one I will hold onto as an encapsulation of my career as an #eventprof was THE PEOPLE 🧡 The friendships I made on this adventure will continue for years to come. We will support each other when times are challenging, make impactful introductions, do business together, see each other at every industry event we attend, encourage each other to do hard things, offer advice when decisions are impossible, and of course, reminisce about this trip for years to come. All of THIS is why I work in events 🎉💕💃

Everyone says event ROI is hard to measure. They're not wrong. But here's what nobody talks about: You don't realize how bad your measurement is until you're sitting in a board meeting trying to justify a $200K event budget with "the vibes were great and we got a lot of business cards." Brand ROI is the same story. Fuzzy. Squishy. Easy to wave away, until leadership starts questioning why you're sponsoring anything at all. Here's my hot take: the brands that figure out even a rough framework for measuring event and brand ROI aren't just doing better marketing. They look like absolute geniuses in the room. Not because the numbers are perfect. But because everyone else has nothing. A few things I've seen actually move the needle: — Pipeline influenced (not just sourced) tied to event attendance — Account engagement scores pre/post event — Share of voice tracking around flagship moments — Sales cycle velocity for contacts who attended vs. those who didn't None of these are flawless. But they tell a story. And in B2B, a story backed by any data beats a gut feeling every time. The bar is low. Clear it. What's your go-to metric for proving event or brand value? Drop it below 👇

1st Swoogoversary at Swoogo 🎉 One year at Swoogo and I can honestly say I’ve never had Sunday scaries here… suspicious, right? 👀 Well, it turns out that when you work with a team full of superstars at a company that truly wants the best for its customers, even challenges turn into fun opportunities to build together with the amazing Swoogs! 🚀 Grateful for the work, the laughs, and, truly, the ONE-OF-A-KIND company culture. Here’s to many more years of swoogin’ (hopefully at Chili’s) 🧡

Last week, I had the opportunity to welcome a new Swoogo customer by attending an onboarding and training session put on by Alexis Carpenter, Joe Schelling, and Paul Smith 🙌 This was especially unique because although Microsoft is a new customer for Swoogo, I have a very long history with them. Back when my dad founded our company, Evia (previously Tri-Digital, currently TPN ) in 1993 he onboarded them and that relationship carried through to today. As you can imagine, with many years servicing their events, there are so many memories I reflect on when I can, but usually keep tucked away to make room for more current happenings. Being on campus again and reconnecting with some of my most favorite colleagues (👋 Jeff Tyler and Alexandra Georgescu) afforded me the opportunity to recall so many important experiences throughout my career. It was such a pleasure and grounded me to my professional roots once again ❤️ It’s important to remember how we got started in our careers - it helps us remain humble and passionate for those just getting started!

Today is IMEX Frankfurt 2026. I’m so excited!! I’ve been going to IMEX Vegas for 5 years, but this is my first in Frankfurt! I only recently expanded my focus to include supporting Swoogo‘s continued investment in EMEA. At a time when many event tech providers are reducing investment and resources, we believe in the region and are doubling down. If you’re in Frankfurt this week, let me know! We’re hosting a wine tasting tonight with fielddrive and the show floor is already so alive. And yes, with 2 full weeks overseas, I am becoming increasingly concerned about the state of my garden back home… but tomatoes are hardy, right? Right?! 🤣 #IMEXFRANKFURT2026 #eventtech

Wrapping up a great week in London. We hosted a wine tasting with event professionals including both Swoogo customers and industry veterans we highly respect. Great conversations, great wine, and Francesco Impari’s wine commentary A++. I also spent time with our EMEA team deep diving into the region. We walked away with product enhancements, partnerships worth deeper investment, and a refreshed approach to delivery and service planning for the region. A lot of momentum building across EMEA right now. Next up - IMEX Frankfurt! Swoogo
