Speaking on a panel to a room full of event professionals is similar to cooking for a group of Michelin-starred chefs 👩🏻🍳 - this was an audience that noticed everything. The flow, the energy, the hospitality… and whether the arancini was up to scratch! (IYKYK) Thank you to Bizzabo for inviting me to speak on behalf of CBRE and for creating an event that felt more fun, human, and connected than a typical corporate event… and can we just take a moment to appreciate Antwone Stigall, CBC, CMM, CMP, CTA, DES, DMCP 👏🏻 🎤 for leading such a thoughtful and energetic conversation! It was a pleasure joining Andrea R. Joffe (Nasdaq) and Sereita Cobbs (ESPN) to discuss where live events are headed next - from AI and measurement to the growing expectation that events feel intentional, seamless, and genuinely worth showing up for. My favorite part of the evening was watching a room full of people who create experiences for a living fully engage in one themselves. A good reminder that even in an industry obsessed with logistics and execution, what people remember most is still how you made them feel in the room. 💛✨ #corporateevents #liveevents #humanconnection #eventproffesionals #nycevents 📸: Itai Zwecker

What if your event app actually got smarter the more you used it? At Boldpush's AI for Events Demo Day, Andrew Serfaty, PMP, Senior Product Manager at Bizzabo, showed exactly what that looks like with Bizzy. Here's what stood out: ⭐It gets the nuances. Context matters, so Bizzy knows VP and Vice President aren't different people ⭐Your event data becomes your competitive advantage. Feed it custom instructions, and Bizzy learns what matters to your team ⭐It fills the gaps your team leaves behind, from last-minute logistics to the things Sales always forgets The community had questions, and we had the answers: Q: Can Bizzy handle really specific stuff, like a barista location or nearby coffee? A: Absolutely. You can totally do this with the Event Brain markdown file. It learns whatever you teach it. Q: Can we set Bizzy up with custom instructions before attendees even arrive? A: Yes! You can basically teach Bizzy how to answer anything with the markdown file, especially the things your team might forget. Q: Can it understand the difference between a VP and a Vice President? A: It can! Bizzy understands context, like the fact that VP and Vice President are the same. Huge thanks to Julius Solaris for bringing the community together, Andrew for the killer demo, and Alon Alroy, CMO & Co-founder, for opening the conversation on what AI in events actually looks like. 🙌 Watch the full demo → https://hubs.ly/Q04hjlpL0

  • Turns out, a surprise rain squall, skyline views, very generous cocktail pours, and 100 event professionals make for a pretty great night. 🍸 This week, Bizzy After Hours took over NYC for an evening built around connection, community, and stepping out of execution mode for a few hours. We watched conversations spill so far into the night that another venue eventually had to kick us out. We saw event professionals jump into the photobooth like old friends, compare notes on AI and event impact over cocktails, and somehow immediately bond over weather apps, shipping stress, and whether enough fries had been ordered. A huge thank you to our incredible panelists Jill Maxwell (CBRE), Sereita Cobbs (ESPN), and Andrea R. Joffe (Nasdaq), and to Antwone Stigall, for leading such a thoughtful, lively conversation on where events are headed next. And a special thank you to BW Events Tech and Majestic Photobooth for helping us bring the room together. One of our favorite moments of the night? Our friends from Braindate, who happened to walk by on the High Line while visiting NYC, spotted the event and found their way into the room. Honestly, that felt pretty fitting. However you found us, we’re glad you did. Because at the end of the day, the best part of this industry will always be the people in the room. ❤️

Mental Health Awareness Month reminder for event profs 💛 The industry moves fast. The webinars never end. There’s always another AI update, another launch, another event, another ROI conversation to prepare for. So this post is your reminder that you’re allowed to slow down, too. You don’t need to optimize every second of your life. You don’t need to attend every webinar. You don’t need to master every new tool overnight. And your value is not measured by how available you are 24/7. Sometimes self-care looks like: ☁️ muting Slack notifications 🌿 touching grass between events ☕ drinking your coffee while it’s still hot 🛁 mentally logging off after onsite days 💛 reconnecting with yourself outside of work To every event prof carrying a lot right now: We see you. Repost this to remind another event prof to slow down too 💛 #Bizzabo #EventProfs #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth

  • Event professionals deserve a night off, too. 🥂 We’re introducing something new this year: Event Prof’s Night Off: The Reset Sessions, and Austin is up first. This isn’t a dinner. It’s not a panel. And you won’t be standing around making small talk. Instead, we’re bringing together a small group of event profs for a shared experience designed to help you actually switch off for a few hours. What to expect: 🍇 Guided tasting 🪩 Disco ball crafting 💬 Real conversations with people who get it Big thanks to BW Events Tech for helping bring the experience to life 💛 📍 Austin, TX 📅 June 3, 2026 Space is limited. Apply to attend: https://lnkd.in/e4NXQ6x5

  • The best conversations in events don’t always happen on stage. Sometimes, they happen around the table. Over the past few months, we brought the Bizzy Dinner Series to Boston, Washington, and San Francisco — and every room reminded us of the same thing: People are craving smaller, smarter, more intentional experiences. The kind where conversations go deeper than “So, what platform do you use?” Thanks to everyone who joined us this year 🫶 More cities. More dinners. More to come. 👉 Get on the list to be the first to hear about future Bizzy events: https://lnkd.in/dMsadees

Nearly 1,000 event professionals tuned in for Boldpush's AI for Events Demo Day! Alon Alroy, CMO & Co-founder of Bizzabo, had a conversation with Julius Solaris that hit on something the industry's been grappling with: the gap between AI innovation and actual impact. 💬 Here's what stood out: ⭐Don't ask "Do you have AI?", ask "How are you actually using it to solve real problems?" ⭐Innovation for innovation's sake just creates noise. Focus on impact: productivity, connection, and better decisions. ⭐Build systems, not point solutions. One unified data layer powers smarter decisions across your entire event program. Also answering some of the sharpest questions from event profs who showed up: Q: What should teams look for in their AI partners? A: Transparency about approach. Your partners should prove how AI solves real problems for your events, not just that they have it. Q: How do event organizers actually start building an AI strategy? A: Try it and find what works best for you and your team. Start small, measure impact, and build from there. Q: Who validates AI decisions and outputs? What's the quality trade-off? A: You need unified data grounding your AI in real event context — not guessing. That's how you ensure quality while saving time. Huge thanks to Julius for hosting, Alon for the insights, and Andrew Serfaty, PMP, Senior Product Manager at Bizzabo, for the incredible live demo that followed. 🙌 Watch the full conversation → https://hubs.ly/Q04h85FQ0

  • A heat wave is hitting New York this week… and honestly, it feels on brand for event season. 🍸🔥 In just a few days, we’ll have 150+ event professionals together for Bizzy After Hours, and right now the energy is in that very specific place event people know well. The calm before the chaos. The moment where everything somehow feels both completely under control and one Slack notification away from disaster. Between now and Wednesday, anything could happen. A shipping delay. A weather alert. A LIRR strike... But that’s part of it too. But as Lorne Michaels once said, “The show doesn’t go on because it’s ready. The show goes on because it’s 11:30.” And honestly? That’s kind of the magic of events, too. Because underneath all the logistics and last-minute pivots, this is the part we love. Building the room. Watching the RSVP list come together. Feeling the energy before people even walk through the door. We’re incredibly excited for the Bizzabo team behind this one, for a killer panel featuring Jill Maxwell (CBRE), Sereita Cobbs (ESPN), and Andrea R. Joffe Joffe (Nasdaq), moderated by Antwone Stigall, and for the overall vibe this night is already starting to have. But the best part is knowing the room will be filled with people who get it. Know an event prof who should be there? Tag them below. We’ve saved a few spots for the people who were simply too busy making everyone else’s events happen until now. 🍸
