We're bringing Plead The Fifth 553 feet above the city. 👀 Plead The Fifth Card Game is proud to be exhibiting at Sky's The Limit, a Day 0 Web Summit gathering hosted by WAKE Collective at the Vancouver Lookout. A curated room of founders, investors, and the ecosystem that supports them. WAKE exists to amplify BIPOC women in tech and create space for the kind of conversations that don't usually happen at networking events. Honest ones. Real ones. The kind where you leave knowing someone, not just their job title. That's exactly the room we want to be in. Hosted at the highest point in Vancouver, this event is about visibility, access, and real connection. We are genuinely grateful for this opportunity and so excited to be in that room. If you're coming, come find us. 💜 📍 Vancouver Lookout 📅 May 11 | 3–5PM Open to everyone. No Web Summit badge required. Come meet the people shaping what's next. And don't be surprised if you leave knowing a little too much about someone 😉

The social game redefining how we connect, one confession at a time.
About us
Plead The Fifth is the card game that dares you to be honest — or take it to your grave. Designed for the bold, the curious, and the slightly chaotic, it turns every game night into a confessional (the fun kind). Perfect for parties, cabin trips, afters, or any night where small talk just won’t cut it. Bring it to the pregame, take it on vacation, or leave it on your coffee table — the chaos will find you. The game includes 225 cards across four categories — Confess, Dodge, Glory, and Action — each designed to push your limits, test your honesty, and keep everyone on edge (and laughing). Created in Vancouver, Canada by co-founders Fizza Parsayan and Carter Grenier, the game was developed over two years of testing, feedback, and design iteration to deliver the perfect blend of wit, tension, and fun. Now available at pleadthefifthgame.com, the brand continues to grow through community-driven storytelling, social engagement, and events that celebrate honesty, chaos, and connection.

Plead The Fifth Card Game reposted this
Vancouver Startup Week 2026 is a wrap and honestly, I'm still processing it. This year hit different. I wasn't just there as an attendee. I was there as Director of Digital Experience, and as a sponsor through Plead The Fifth. Two very different roles, both in the same week, both meaning more than I expected. The Ecosystem Showcase was one of those moments I didn't fully anticipate. Watching people walk up to our booth, pick up the cards, laugh at a question, hesitate before answering, get real with a stranger they'd just met. That's what Plead The Fifth was always meant to do. Seeing it actually happen, in a room full of founders and builders and connectors, felt like proof. Behind the scenes, I was equally lucky. Disha, Patty, and Ryan showed up every single time, and having Mark in my corner as a mentor made all the difference. And none of it would have landed the way it did without the design team, Monica, Firm, Abigail, Yuki. Their visuals were the heartbeat of the event's identity, and the level of craft they brought was impossible to ignore. The VSW website wasn't just functional, it carried the energy of the event itself, and that's a team effort I'm genuinely proud to have been part of. And then there were the moments I didn't see coming. Deborah and Tej trusted me to be the face of our social content, from the Nespresso spot to Peeltea. Slightly nerve-wracking? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. None of this happens without Katty and Vivian. I've watched what they've built with VSW and it's not just an event, it's a community that actually feels like one. Intentional, inclusive, and genuinely committed to the work of connecting people. Grateful doesn't really cover it. But it's a start. See you next year 🤍

Built to skip small talk. Proven to start real conversations. VSW opening night was a reminder of why we created Plead The Fifth in the first place. Thank you to everyone who came by, played, and made it what it was. 💜
Science World. Opening night. 500+ people. And two founders in the middle of it all with a deck of cards. 🃏 Fizza and Carter are the co-founders of Plead The Fifth Card Game, a conversational card game built to skip the small talk and get straight to the good stuff. They were at #VSW2026's opening night demoing the game, and the energy around their booth said everything. 🙌 We sat down with them for a special edition of Unboxed, our behind-the-scenes founder series. That video is live on our Instagram now. We've linked it in the comments. Go watch it. Their personalities alone are worth the click. 🫶 Check out the game → pleadthefifthgame.com #PleadTheFifth #VSWUnboxed

Two Vancouver founders asked a simple question: what if a card game could spark the conversations people actually want to have? That question became Plead The Fifth Card Game. 225 cards designed to get past “What do you do?” and into the stories, risks, and opinions that build real relationships. 👥🎯 Now they’re a Platinum Sponsor of VSW 2026. Here’s why this partnership makes sense: → They’re local. Built in Vancouver, backed by the same community that shows up to VSW every year. 🌍 → They get it. The best startup opportunities don’t come from perfect pitches. They come from unexpected conversations and genuine connection. 🫶 → They’re founders. They know what it takes to turn an idea into something people actually want. 🔥 Plead The Fifth isn’t just sponsoring VSW. They’re doubling down on the belief that community is how startups grow. We’re proud to have them with us. 🤝 Grab your All-Access Pass at vanstartupweek.ca

Recently, we took Plead The Fifth out into the world for the first time, and it exceeded every expectation. At Terminal City Tabletop Convention (TCTC), we watched complete strangers sit down, pick up a deck, and within minutes turn into storytellers, competitors, and chaotic friends. Some early takeaways: → The game is instantly understood and easy to jump into → It works across groups (friends, strangers, couples, party settings) → The “plead or answer” mechanic creates real moments of tension, humor, and connection → People didn’t just play once — they stayed, replayed, and brought others in As a locally built product, seeing that kind of organic engagement was incredibly validating. Huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, played with us, and supported us during our first ever showcase. This is just the beginning for Plead The Fifth and we’re excited to continue growing, connecting with communities, and bringing this experience to more tables. If you’re a retailer, café, or event organizer interested in collaborating, we’d love to connect!
