The 2026 PCA Plumbing Services Conference kicked off yesterday in Indianapolis with a welcome session featuring remarks from PCA Board Chair, Kevin Walsh, an introduction to the rest of the PCA Plumbing Board, and an interactive meet-and-greet. Attendees kept the energy going during an opening night reception at Pins Mechanical Co., sponsored by Zurn Elkay Water Solutions. Today’s busy schedule features a variety of educational opportunities, starting with an opening general session, a multi-stop tour of the UA Local 440 Plumbers, Pipefitters,& HVAC Techs Training Facility with North Mechanical Contracting and Service and peer-to-peer roundtable discussions.

Most building failures don’t happen overnight. They build up over time inside systems like this. This is a cooling tower cleaning, something that often gets overlooked until it becomes a much bigger problem. Debris buildup, poor flow, strain on the system, and eventually expensive repairs or outages. Routine maintenance keeps everything running the way it’s supposed to, extends the life of the equipment, and helps avoid those middle of the night emergency calls. This is what preventative service actually looks like in the field. We were proud to host Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Innovative Technologies Committee at EM Duggan this week. The group toured our 125,000+ sq. ft. campus and got a firsthand look at how we connect office, prefab, and field into one seamless workflow through Duggan Innovative Solutions. From coordination to fabrication to installation, everything works together with purpose. We also had the chance to showcase some of the technology pushing us forward, including our new Novarc Technologies Inc. machine. Always great to connect with industry leaders and share what the future of construction looks like.
