Typeform is good for response collection and has a nice design. But it's just a nightmare for analyzing survey data. They broke all the summaries and reports — different tabs show different number... See more

Spent hours this morning working on a typeform.
Suddenly it reverts back to the version I had been replacing.
Hours of work - gone.
Honestly? In the age of AI-enabled coding, why settle for mediocrity like this?
My first instinct? Not to visit Trustpilot to write a review.
Look for a "feedback" or "help" button.
Instead I get re-directed into a bottomless pit of "here's an article or help video on this."
I don't need help.
I need a software that doesn't glitch out and destroy my work randomly.
So we'll be switching to another software.
We have the paid version... so I expect better.
Typeform, get a clue.
You need:
1. A feedback, not support, button. Let me just send your devs a message immediately. AI can route it and triage it.
2. To not have a glitchy software that randomly erases my hard work.
Good luck and ciao.

This is so unbelievably difficult to use. The AI is rubbish. The help videos are rubbish. As other people mention, it is expensive for what it is. I cannot get it to do what i want it to do despite the ridiculous AI telling me it's possible and chat gpt telling me it's possible and now after 4 hours chat gpt is saying well mayeb it's not possible. What is the point in having a form if you can't take the answers and spit out the results at the other side. I don't think i'll renew and find something else to use going forward.

Their support is BS and useless.
They wouldn’t even cancel/refund pro-rated usage even when contacted within few hours of being charged.
The charge just showed up on the company card because some previous employee had signed up.
Its a ripoff. Stay away from typeform.

Immediately put on a monthly subscription that I never signed up for.
Does not operate within EU law with such subscription mandates. Avoid at all costs.

Despite the insane amount of money charged for a glorified form builder, what really brought our team over the edge was a) the countless times we had a "wait, this super basic workflow/feature isn't available at all?" moment, and even worse b) how some features are implemented so laughably bad, it's almost unbelievable.
One example I'd like to point out is the use of variables in a form: There's no way to transform variables, assign one variable to another, or have default values for a variable. How would you ever come up with such a limited and weird combination of features when it comes to having variables and dynamic content in a form?
Would give 0 stars if I could.
The paid version is fantastic. We had it at work and I used it all the time. So when I moved on from my job, I thought I'd set up a free account so I can send some date options to friends for a reunion and they could vote on what we would do. One multiple choice question with 4 options. Simple I thought.
Then I discovered Typeform is stingy. It was advertised as free with limited features. It was only after I sent the voting link off to 35 people and 5 responded, that I received an email saying I only get 10 responses a month for free and if I wanted more it would be £21 per month. Ridiculous. No point in even setting up a survey at all and no real ability to 'test' the tool out properly. I will be finding a free or very cheap alternative. Its not designed for your occasional user and this experience has put me off investing in it for my new teaching role.

Our experience with Typeform has been extremely disappointing.
We signed up for a Plus plan and paid annually upfront, expecting standard functionality. However, we discovered that a basic feature, receiving email notifications when a form is submitted, is NOT included.
Instead, we were told to:
Purchase an additional paid add-on
Or use a workaround via Zapier
This makes no sense. Email notifications are a core feature of any form builder, not something that should be paywalled.
To make matters worse:
Documentation suggests the feature exists
The UI elements referenced are missing
Support gave conflicting guidance and no real solution
This feels like misleading advertising and forced upselling of essential functionality.
Bottom line: You may pay for a premium plan and still not get basic features. Not recommended.

I've been using typeform for 3-4 years now, and it used to be great and small business friendly.
This month, my forms failed because I needed to upgrade to a 'Teams' plan just in order to have a link at the end of my form.
This Teams plan is £75 pcm inc VAT - double what I was paying previously, just so that I can have a link at the end of my form.
Customer service was unhelpful and unsupportive.
I used to love Typeform, but their ever-increasing prices and limits on simple features is losing them customers - and the worst part is that they don't even seem to care.

its lovely...it helps me filter real clients from not serious ones

a bit expensive but mostly good and have all options - translating, integrations etc

Great product overall, but as a single-member business (landscaping) the functionality isn’t ideal for my needs, the learning curve is a little steep, and the pricing doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Specifically I use it as a lead qualification tool since I can’t sit around on the phone all day. I also don’t like paying a guy to make changes to my website so I use the form as an easier way to update key pieces of information when I am in peak season.
I love the clean modern look and I also love that it gives me a way more polished look than any of my competitors.

Typeform is great, however I want to use the forms more widely on my webpage and the lack of transparent backgrounds are really letting me down

Typeform is the best solution for surveys, surbscriptions and feedback
I have used it on many different occasions, it is very easy to use, share results and customize

I really didn't like that as I was gaining traction through my form and I didn't notice until I looked at a couple emails that it was maxed out and closed out so people couldn’t continue with submissions. So I had to abruptly go and get a subscription so people could continue to fill out the form. It wasn't big enough that the free model had a cap. And the free cap is TEN HEADS??? The FORTY DOLLARS for ONE HUNDRED??? Lol SMH

Canceled a test run for my company - they billed me 11 days later anyway. Tried chatting for resolution, got nowhere. Went to delete my account and they make you complete two (of the same) forms then make you set up multi-factor authentication - BEFORE-letting you cancel. This company is a money and data trap! Trap you into "trying for free" then charge you $40 per/month and make it hard to cancel. Stay away from this platform!

After purchasing a voice message collection service, I was surprised to discover that they cannot be automatically transcribed because they are not in English. Since it is an AI-based transcription, I expected it to support multiple languages.

Great company; nice interface, only the dashboard can be 'more clear'. I feel like I have to figure out a lot of the stuff (where to find stuff, e.g.) a lot of the times
