The World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition 2026 concluded yesterday, with a strong focus on hydrogen innovation and sustainable energy. Throughout the event, we had meaningful conversations with industry peers and partners, exchanging perspectives on key hydrogen topics and industry insights. At our booth, we showcased Typhon as a full-scale concept, supported by a 20ft screen visualizing the real-life size of the system. Typhon is a 20ft turnkey solution for powering green hydrogen, integrating a transformer, MV switchgear and a 6MW SiC-based rectifier in one compact system. We have signed a strategic partnership agreement with Fortaegis Technologies to support the development, industrialization and commercialization of advanced secure hardware and software platforms. The agreement brings together Fortaegis’ expertise in secure and high performance computing, networking and distributed infrastructure with Prodrive Technologies’ capabilities in engineering, system integration, industrialization and manufacturing. As part of the agreement, Prodrive Technologies will also take on the role of strategic investor in Fortaegis. This reflects our confidence in Fortaegis’ technology and supports our shared ambition to bring secure hardware and software platforms to scalable deployment. As SEMICON Southeast Asia (SEMI SEA) continues in Kuala Lumpur, Prodrive Technologies is present at the Netherlands Pavilion, booth 1542, as part of the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM) mission to Malaysia and Singapore. Our colleague Ronald van den Putte is connecting with companies, government representatives and ecosystem partners across the regional semiconductor industry. A valuable moment during the show was the opportunity to introduce Prodrive to the Deputy Minister of Finance of Malaysia, YB Chin Tong Liew, and discuss our activities in the semiconductor ecosystem, as well as the potential support around establishing our presence in Malaysia. We also appreciated the conversations with Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA), represented by Dato’ Seri SH Wong, and Invest Selangor Berhad. Alexander Wessel was also present at the show and will be moving to Malaysia by the end of the year, supporting the next step in strengthening Prodrive’s local presence and relationships in Southeast Asia. A valuable mission so far, with more meetings and company visits ahead in Malaysia and Singapore.

Pleased to see our collaboration with Eindhoven University of Technology reflected in this publication in Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology (JVST A). The paper explores tailored waveform biasing for atomic and molecular plasmas in atomic scale processing, with a closer look at how waveform settings such as ramp rate, pulse amplitude, duty cycle and repetition frequency influence ion energy control. For us, this is a strong example of industry and academia working together on research with clear practical relevance, with Prodrive’s Tailored Waveform Generator helping enable the experimental setup.
