UNCOMN is seeking a Solutions Architect to:

• Coordinate with the Cloud Architect, Data Architect, and Cybersecurity Architect on cross-domain architecture.
• Develops and maintains Solution Architectures for War Data Platform (WDP) customers, designing end-to-end technical solutions that leverage WDP capabilities to meet customer mission requirements.
• Conducts customer requirements analysis, develop solution architecture packages for the Architecture Review Board (ARB) review.
• Maintain Systems, Software, Service, and Network architectural views.
• Develop system designs, interface definitions, and API specifications.
• Conduct Analyses of Alternatives (AoA) for system design decisions.
• Develop Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) planning architecture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of solutions architecture and systems engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in enterprise IT solution design, DoDAF architectural view maintenance, and customer requirements analysis.
• Experience developing solution architecture packages for ARB review, conducting AoAs, and designing BCDR architectures in a DoD environment.
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and JWCC cloud environments.
• Experience applying Zero Trust Architecture principles (NIST SP 800-207) and DevSecOps CONOPS to solution design.
• Proficiency with DoDAF architecture modeling tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect, Cameo Systems Modeler, or similar).
• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.
• Must be comfortable working onsite full-time at the Pentagon's CDAO facility, or at a designated partner facility within the local area, pending final site establishment.
• Must meet DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF)/8140 requirements for the Enterprise Architect (651) role, obtaining required certifications and completing additional training, as needed.

• Active DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF 9 Certified, AWS Solutions Architect Professional. INCOSE CSEP, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar.
