Startup India, DPIIT, successfully conducted the TEJAS workshop in Lower Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh on 18th May 2026, bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs, startup founders, students, and ecosystem stakeholders to strengthen grassroots entrepreneurship and innovation in the region. Shri Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh, IAS, Director, DPIIT visited Ranchi, Jharkhand to review and strengthen the state’s startup and ease of doing business ecosystem. The meeting was held at the JIIDCO Udyog Bhawan in the presence of Shri Varun Ranjan, IAS, MD, JIIDCO, along with officials from the Department of Industries, Government of Jharkhand, ecosystem stakeholders like Paytm and Razorpay, startups, incubators, and industry representatives. The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration with Startup India, DPIIT through initiatives such as: 🚀 TEJAS workshops across 19 identified districts in Jharkhand 📈 Participation in the States’ Startup Ranking Initiative 💡 Awareness and adoption of key Startup India schemes including CGSS, Fund of Funds 2.0, and DPIIT DeepTech recognition 🏢 Strengthening incubation and startup support infrastructure across the state He also interacted with DPIIT-recognised startups, ACIC IIT (ISM) Foundation incubators, Jharkhand Entrepreneurs Association (JEA), and NAVACHAR RESEARCH INCUBATION AND INNOVATION COUNCIL (NRIIC) representatives to understand on-ground ecosystem challenges and opportunities.
