Strong leadership is built not only through expertise, but through meaningful collaboration and the willingness to openly share experiences, challenges, and best practices. It was encouraging to see this spirit come alive at the #IGCC #CFO Functional Workshop on "Future of Finance" held in #Bengaluru on 22 May 2026. The workshop brought together senior finance leaders for strategic discussions on the evolving role of finance functions amidst economic shifts, regulatory developments, digital transformation, automation, and AI-led change. The conversations clearly reflected how finance is increasingly moving from a support function to a strategic driver of business growth and resilience. Grateful to the CFO community for actively shaping the dialogue and bringing forward perspectives that made the discussions highly relevant and forward-looking. The open exchange of experiences, challenges, and opportunities laid the foundation for a stronger peer network and collaborative learning ecosystem. Key areas that emerged for continued engagement and best-practice sharing included: 🔹CFO Forum priorities and collaboration roadmap 🔹Manufacturing challenges and exchange risk management 🔹GCC setup, scaling, and operational excellence 🔹Future of Finance: AI, automation, and transformation 🔹Transfer pricing and regulatory frameworks 🔹Government incentives for growth and expansion 🔹Treasury, hedging, and financial resilience strategies The workshop concluded with a collective agreement to continue these discussions through focused engagements and knowledge-sharing platforms, enabling finance leaders to exchange best practices and jointly address emerging priorities. Thank you once again to all participants for your valuable insights and contributions. Looking forward to strengthening this finance leadership network and advancing these conversations together. The #IGCC Western Region Council came together on Wednesday, 13 May 2026 for a truly meaningful and energising meeting hosted by #Bosch Chassis Systems India. For the Council members, the meeting was not only an opportunity to gain industry insights, but also a valuable platform to engage, exchange perspectives and begin shaping stronger working relationships within the Western Region Council ecosystem. What made the interaction particularly valuable was the openness and involvement with which the Bosch leadership team, led by Vinay Dsouza engaged with the Council members to showcase their best practices and reflect a culture that is deeply aligned, people-centric and forward-looking. The discussions around Digitalisation on the shop floor were especially thought-provoking—showing how technology, data and a precision mindset are being leveraged to optimize every second, every movement and every process—even improving cycle times by fractions of seconds that ultimately translate into meaningful gains in productivity, space utilisation, manpower efficiency and customer responsiveness. Equally impactful was the exchange around Continuous Improvement initiatives, where the balance between structured top-down, problem solving Speed Week and a strong bottom-up Kaizen culture demonstrated how sustainable progress is built when every individual is encouraged to contribute ideas and solutions. The scale at which ideas are encouraged, implemented and monitored within the organisation reflects a deeply embedded culture of learning, agility and evolution. The conversations around People Matters added another important layer to the interaction, highlighting the organisation’s emphasis on competency building, engagement, cultural alignment and future readiness. It was clearly demonstrated that transformation at Bosch is not only technological, but also deeply human-centric. There is an unmistakable energy within the organisation—one that is focused not on resting on past achievements, but on continuously building “the picture of the future.” A sincere note of gratitude to the Bosch team for hosting such a meaningful interaction and creating a strong beginning for what promises to be a highly collaborative and impactful journey for the IGCC Western Region Council.
