Notice how the people who like it are all teachers who say it makes their lives easier? It's awful for the students - poor in features, tedious to work with an unreliable.

My science teacher won’t stop mentioning this stooped app. I’m so done with jeal and walker ruining my day. Great heavens.

Terrible

Terrible. I was doing my homework then it started glitching and it exploded, launching me and my whole family to mars.

Pros and Cons

I honestly love Showbie. Their customer service team is fantastic, (special mention to Dan Rose) it makes monitoring class work a breeze and students have a place to talk to teachers when they get stuck! The one reason why this isn’t 5 stars is because of how much students tell me their Showbie is either not working or keeps crashing. The other reason is the sheer price of Showbie Pro. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good that they have a free version, but it is very limited, and even so much as adding a Socrative to an assignment (which by the way is free if you take the time to host it through a link instead of the Showbie feature) requires pro. Plus, there isn’t a monthly subscription for Showbie Pro, which I find rather irritating.

Awful

Awful, it's a really confusing interface which the students are constantly complaining about and it doesn't record work properly.

This is the premier app for feedback...

This is the premier app for building an efficient and effective workflow around feedback. It would be even better if embedded media files (video and audio) could be played within the document preview for Keynote, Pages, Numbers files.

Showbie is an excellent application and…

Showbie is an excellent application and is fundamental to the way I teach. The application allows me to communicate with all of my pupils and helps me guide them through their personal learning journey. Further, I can extend my classroom outside the confines of the school buildings, provide remote education and enable pupils to communicate with me while they work ona variety of assignments. Showbie is truly important to my pedagogy and I would be lost without it!

Great tool for setting and organising work online.

Showbie is SUCH a useful tool for setting and marking work remotely, whether that's during 'lockdown' situations, or just when students use devices to access work during lessons, or for homework.
Showbie makes it easy to organise and review work day-to-day, and even from one year to the next - by checking my archive I can review what I set for a particular lesson last year, and how students responded to it.
Showbie is at the core of nearly everything I set for my students.
