It's a scam, forget about Base44, please don't do what I did. I persisted, I'm Elite 3 and I got caught red-handed modifying the code 🤣, but also your AI is buggy, your employees manipulate user data... See more

Paypal not work
Revolut not work
Nothing works here.
Debit card not work.
This platform is fantastic for developing great projects. The customer support is exceptional, and coding is straightforward, especially for beginners with little or no experience. I recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their current workflow.
A game-changer for solo founders: stellar platform and outstanding support!
As a solo founder currently building a B2B SaaS, having a reliable technical partner is vital. Base44 is an incredible platform for building fast, but what truly sets them apart is their customer support.
The team provides incredibly fast, precise, and highly technical answers. Whether you are dealing with UI questions or complex backend architecture and security rules (like RLS or Deno functions), they actually take the time to understand your specific use case and provide the canonical, robust way to do things.
Knowing I have this level of stellar support behind me gives me absolute confidence for my upcoming official launch. Highly recommended!
I made a mistake on a yearly purchase and all I did was get my little ticket for support wrote what my issue was and the next day, received an email that it was solved so I was very thankful and grateful for that

Repeated failed repairs, credits consumed, issues marked fixed before live verification, and refusal to reinstate credits despite documented recurring failures.

Awful customer service, and poor terminology when purchasing the monthly plans. i clicked on the $16 plan which ended up bundling into a yeas worth of monthly credits charging my account $336. (3 times as expensive if paying for the top monthly plan for 10k credits) instead of helping me out they said i was Shit out of luck. Not to mention how buggy it is. youll have to spend 200 credits just to fix it lol. crooked ass people on base44. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

I signed up to build a talent booking app. After weeks of going in circles, the platform failed to deliver a working product.
When I raised my concerns and requested a discount, I was declined. I stopped using the service entirely and was then charged again the following month. When I requested a refund, I was told all fees were non-refundable under their terms.
The platform itself felt buggy, and the AI build process lacked the reliability needed for a professional business tool. I ultimately had to abandon Base44 and rebuild elsewhere at significant additional cost.
Save yourself the frustration: test thoroughly before committing to a paid plan.

I may be one of the most patient people in the world, and yet they still managed to push me beyond my limits. I have collected all the data from SuperAgent constantly telling me what actions to take, only for it to waste my time and credits and then apologize afterward, claiming it made a mistake.

I joined BASE as an Elite 1 / Elite 2 member because the platform initially appeared professional and trustworthy. However, what happened to me has completely destroyed that trust.
The most serious issue is this: I had around 871 message credits on my account, and suddenly — without me actively using them — the number jumped to over 1500 used credits almost instantly. Even more alarming, the system showed activity “30 seconds ago,” despite me not doing anything that would justify such usage.
In other words: credits were being consumed without my knowledge or authorization.
This is the biggest red flag for me. It feels as if credits are simply being taken from users while the company assumes nobody will notice. When I raised these concerns, instead of receiving a serious explanation or transparent investigation, I repeatedly received generic copy-paste responses from supposed “staff members” that completely ignored the actual issue.
This is not a small technical misunderstanding anymore. From my perspective, this raises extremely serious concerns about transparency, billing practices, and how user accounts are handled internally.
I am still waiting for a proper and direct response from BASE itself. However, if I once again receive only another generic template reply, I will immediately initiate legal action.
Additionally, I will forward the matter directly to business and economic media outlets as well as to SECO, because several things I have observed would, in my opinion, never be legally acceptable for a properly operating company in Switzerland, Germany, or Austria.
And importantly: this is not the first incident.
At this point, I can only advise others to proceed with extreme caution and carefully monitor their accounts and credits.
UPDATE TO YOUR ANSWER:
I do not agree with your explanation regarding this case.
I was subscribed to an Elite Plan. Suddenly, we were informed that there was an “overdue” balance and that, based on your contractual terms, the subscription had therefore been cancelled.
However, we have been paying for your service since August 2025 at around USD 200 per month, and in March 2026 we additionally paid approximately USD 1,800 for a yearly subscription, including:
1,200 Message Credits
50,000 Integration Credits
The currently displayed balance of around 1,900 credits only exists because I am now additionally paying another USD 300 per month.
What you completely failed to address in your response is the most important issue:
I monitored the Message Credits very closely — practically after every task. That is why I know with certainty that the credits suddenly jumped from around 871 directly to over 1,500, which from my perspective is technically and logically impossible.
The same applies to the Integration Credits, which also increased suddenly without any understandable explanation.
Please do not treat me as if I do not understand what happened here or try to make it appear as though I simply misused or misunderstood the credits.
Yes, I currently have around 1,900 credits — but only because I was effectively forced to additionally pay USD 300 per month after all websites and apps were taken offline.
In the short term, I had little choice if I wanted to bring the systems back online. However, in the medium term, I will definitely start looking for alternatives.
I therefore expect:
a clear and transparent explanation regarding the sudden credit increases,
a complete breakdown of the credit usage,
and a statement regarding the immediate deactivation of all websites and apps despite an active yearly subscription.
Kind regards

DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM. What started as a simple project turned into an absolute disaster of support incompetence, fake demonstrations, and corporate deception. Here is exactly how they trap and lie to users:The Pricing Lie: Technical support sent video recordings claiming manual code editing works on the free tier. When called out, they were forced to admit it was a lie and that manual code edits are completely locked behind paid plans. They use staff accounts to film fake demonstrations to trick users. The 9-Agent Carousel: They passed a single ticket around to over 9 different support agents (Dariia, Gal, Rob, Zhraa, Liran, etc.) because they prioritize speed over actually solving problems. Nobody reads the chat history, leading to constant contradictions. The Endless AI Loop Trap: They limit free users to a tiny credit pool. When you use the AI to fix a problem, the AI fixes that one issue but introduces a brand-new bug. You are forced to waste your limited daily credits just fixing the AI's own broken code, trapping you completely. The 500-Character CRM Trap: They lock customer replies to a strict 500-character limit. This is intentionally designed to sabotage customers from being able to paste back the team's own contradictory chat logs to prove their mistakes.Out-of-Touch Sales Pitch: After blowing right past my May 25th deadline to fix their CRM bottleneck, agent #9 actually tried to pitch me a paid plan! After all of this, after raging a war against them, they honestly expected me to go "Oh, ok, I will pay you now"? They are completely out of their minds.Tip for web builders: look at every level of your paid and unpaid plans and ask "Would I be happy with this if I were a customer?" Then fix it. Save your time and money—stay far away from Base44.(Note: Do not trust whatever Base44 replies under this review, because it is 99% going to be false damage control).
UPDATE: Base44’s reply below just completely proves my point. They publicly admit that they trap free users behind a paywall when the AI breaks, and they admit they use a chaotic "agent carousel" that passes a single ticket to 7+ different people who don't read the history .They call them "experts," but these agents don't even know how their own system works and copy-paste the exact same corporate scripts publicly. They have no solution for their broken system. My 1-star warning stands: DO NOT USE.

Base44 has become more expensive, more opaque, and honestly more disappointing over time. They keep saying the subscription price is the same, but that does not change the real issue: if a prompt used to cost 1 credit and now it can cost up to 3, the real cost of using the platform has clearly gone up. For people actually building serious projects, credits disappear much faster, even when the AI gives incomplete results, breaks existing features, fails to fix the problem, or creates more work than it solves. That is not fair, and it does not feel transparent. If Base44 is making serious money and growing so much, then fix your damn platform instead of making everything more expensive and squeezing more money out of users. The tool has potential, but the current credit system feels abusive, calculated, and designed to drain users before they get anything truly finished. Stop hiding behind “the subscription price stayed the same” when the real usage cost has clearly increased.

At this point I want to give zero stars
Customer service is virtually non-existent. You email support, they ask for details, you provide everything they need, and then… silence. Days later, I’m still waiting for a response.
I’ve spent the last three weeks building an app on this platform, and the experience has been incredibly frustrating. The pattern has been the same throughout: build a feature, discover it doesn’t work properly, ask the AI to fix it, only for something else to break in the process. Repeat. Every cycle burns credits, and I’ve now used all of mine trying to fix problems that shouldn’t have existed in the first place.
I’ve experienced data disappearing, features breaking unexpectedly, things repeatedly being marked as “fixed” when they clearly weren’t, and major syncing issues between devices. At times, it genuinely felt like one step forward and three steps back.
What has been most concerning is the lack of reliability and support. When things go wrong, especially after investing weeks of time, there seems to be very little urgency to help resolve the issue. To make matters worse, customer service limits you to 500 words per message, which doesn’t even begin to touch the sides when trying to explain the number of issues that need fixing.
The backup system has also been disappointing, leaving me with very little confidence that work is properly protected.
In the end, I found myself relying on other AI tools to help solve problems because I no longer trusted this platform to handle important functionality consistently.
If you’re building a very quick prototype, Base44 may be fine. But if you need something reliable or are investing serious time into a project, I would be extremely cautious.
I will happily update this review if Base44 resolves these issues and improves support.
Update- Thank you for your half assed reply. About as useful as your customer service.
Do better!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would it’s a con! Pay for credit run out pay for an upgrade and they take the credits you already paid for from the new ones you just paid for ! $300 the thieves. The AI is ok but stalls and getting the websites live .. sigh! And customer service yeah right ! My advice avoid like the plague!
