Our North House team is over the moon excited to host Laurie Schultz, Former CEO of Galvanize and internationally recognized Board Director and Chair, for a fireside chat tomorrow. 🍁 For those who don’t know, Laurie made history as Canada’s first female CEO to lead a tech company to unicorn status, selling Galvanize to Diligent for $1B USD in 2021. She’s a 30-year tech veteran, EY Entrepreneur of the Year, and BC Tech Person of the Year, and she now serves on boards including Constellation Software and Boast.ai. We need more founders building AI-first startups. So we invited Jack Newton from Clio and Ryan Holmes from Hootsuite to speak about exactly that. 🍁 The result? A sold out room full of energy and good questions from early stage startup founders. And that’s exactly what we launched North House for. Clio just passed $500m in ARR and has raised $2B in funding. Hootsuite has 1,000+ staff and is the world’s largest social media management tool. But they’re both actively reimagining how they’re doing their work and how they’re building their teams as we navigate this AI renaissance.
