Meet Mintier, a fast growing startup founded by League of Innovators Accelerator alumni Rhaelyn Gillespie and Jessica Donati. You may recognize them for their best-selling Collagen Peptide Face Tape. The product achieved 700% year-over-year growth in 2025, with over 60,000 packs sold, eight sell-outs, and now serves over 40,000 customers. Mintier was selected to participate in League of Innovators Accelerator Labs Batch 2023, joining a competitive cohort of high-growth Canadian startups. “With League of Innovators, we were able to step back and think more strategically about how we scale,” said Rhaelyn Gillespie, co-founder of Mintier. “It gave us access to the kind of mentorship and network that helped turn early traction into real momentum.” With an expanding U.S. footprint and $3M revenue for 2026, Mintier is on the leading edge of the next wave of sleep-centric skincare. The brand bridges beauty, wellness, and lifestyle serving a growing market of proactive, wellness-conscious consumers who want results. Applied before sleep, it smooths fine lines overnight while infusing skin with collagen peptides for hydration and suppleness. By the time customers wake up, they see results. That simple, effortless promise drove eight sell-outs in 2025 and 700% growth, cementing Mintier as the leader in an emerging category it helped create. #startups #innovation #entrepreneurship

Meet Alyssa, a member of our Labs 16 cohort and the Founder of Blyssminds! Alyssa is a fantastic example of how presence and process leads to success. She has continually showed up for her fellow founders, our incredible speakers and for the LOI team and we’re excited to connect her with our broader community as she moves closer to the official launch of Blyssminds! Blyss minds health is on a mission to redefine cognitive health for women, starting with products that are not only effective, but safe, science-backed and built with real intention. inspired by my personal experience navigating ADHD and pregnancy, and recognizing the lack of safe, effective cognitive support options available for women. Blyssminds is currently in our funding raise stage, with a strong focus on clinical validation and building alongside researchers and healthcare-informed guidance.

Canada's biggest opportunity for productivity gains is onboarding AI to the companies that haven't touched it yet. That was Ameet Shah’s take today at Canadian Club Toronto, and it matched what I've been hearing in rooms all year. He laid out the productivity crunch in plain terms. Canadian output per worker has been flat for years while the US, UK, and Germany keep pulling away. His argument: the greatest opportunity right now is getting AI into the hands of the businesses that don't yet know how to use it. Taylor and I have had these conversations all month. If we can pull this off at scale, the playing field between small companies and their larger competitors starts to level. A three-person team in Saskatoon can punch at the weight of a thirty-person team in San Francisco. That's the whole thesis behind North Group. Most Canadian SMBs need a partner who can translate AI into the workflows they already run. If that sounds like you, send me a note. P.S. Huge thanks to Cheesan Chew and League of Innovators Accelerator for getting me in the room today!
