I received my order which I waited over…

I received my order which I waited over eight days to get due to the incompetent of their ID technical teams system update and then system failures as well as Dpd‘s system failures. The item came today. I opened the package up and the box and the phone was already open. Someone has already opened the box and then shipped it to me. I phoned up Customer Services to get a reply. I was put on so many holes because the advisor didn’t know what he was doing and then the audacity of it they’ve sent me something which is already open then I have to pay for my own return back and then take out the new contract with them. Why would I take out another contract if I’ve had so bad, Customer Services and experience with There complete negligence and incompetent? I phoned the phone number for ID Mowbile because I’m dyslexic. I severely I think they keep trying to tell me to write things down I asked them to send it by email to make it easier and then they turn round and tell me it’s gonna take 48 hours for someone in the back office team to send me an email with the address on it I need to I need to return. The item is completely ridiculous. I’ve never come across a ridiculous system like it considering they run by curries and I can’t go into store and just do a return from in store ridiculous

ID Mobile - Terrible customer services and outright lies from advisors

I see that ID Mobile has a score of 4.3, but I have to share this poor experience with others. So I ordered an iPhone 13 for £24.99 p/m, with the Direct Debit coming out on 29th of each month (remember this for later). I get the phone, and quickly realise it is unusable due to the screen glitching.

I contact ID mobile to arrange a replacement, but they tell me I have to pay to send it back via tracked delivery (cost me £7.30). Under consumer rules, I should NOT have to pay to return a faulty item. I sent the device back, checked it was delivered, but heard nothing from ID Mobile as to what's happening or even if they received the device.

I then spent well over an hour on a chat about this and when I could expect to receive my replacement phone. I was told to wait another 24-48 hours just to see if they got the phone I returned - this was a week after my tracking number confirmed they did have it.

I then get an email to say my next bill is due on 28th of May - hold on, I asked for 29th of each month... So back to the chats, where the lady tells me I must update the payment date via the app. Er, you lot have my phone, how am I meant to do that? So I get the replacement phone some 2 weeks after I sent back the original, install the app and waste my time fixing ID mobile's error with the DD date, and change it back to 29th. Except that this morning, on 28th, ID mobile has taken the £24.99 a day early, taking the last little bit of money I had and leaving me with an unauthorised overdraft so I have no money. Went back to ID Mobile chat to resolve, and the woman I spoke to tells me it's my fault, and I specified the 28th, even though I uploaded a screenshot of the the direct debit mandate clearly showing the 29th as my payment date. Ended up having to call my bank, get them to reverse the DD and cancel it so ID mobile can't take my money early again. Sorry people for the rant, but I got this contract 7 weeks ago, and only had the an actual working device for less than a week.,. I know things go wrong, but then to have an ESOL chat advisor be patronizing, telling me I'm wrong when I have all the emails, bank statements and screenshots? She completely refused to acknowledge any errors on the part of ID mobile despite the fact I have proof which I sent to her. Horrendous customer service. Have sent complaint to ID Mobile and CC'd Ombudsmen.

Customer service lies to keep things delayed on purpose

My data has not been working well, I contacted multiple times, each time told me to do the same thing.. that did not work. Sent me a new sim, changed to eSim, still not working. Finally I wanted to leave ID with no fee as this is their fault. This has be raised and I got a message I need to wait up to 7 working days, well it has been 10 now and still no answer. Finally I contacted them again and it came out the previous customer support has lied and said our chat broke and I did not provide a phone number to complete this request, this has been done on purpose to delay me leaving and make me pay for upcoming months. Sad.

Generally decent, but...

Generally a decent service, but tbh I was disappointed that my monthly bill hasn't gone down now that my handset has been paid off and my fixed term has expired.

Email communication difficult to find- but everything else was great

The enquiry email was hard to find, the site prefers you to use a chatbot but i couldnt do that without a phone number.

Aside from that, custom service was great. Very helpful and lovely.

The products themselves are really great deals for great prices. Two members of my family have bought from here and they love their phones. Im excited for my own to arrive!
