Bought this bike based on information from a friend. My son has loved this bike. He is was excited to have all different options to accessorize it. It is fast and sturdy. It was easy to assemble. We will definitely be getting a lot of long rides on each battery charge.

Great experience, once my color became available shipped in a timely matter . Did touch base couple of times with customer service to correct my email and they very helpful. The bike it self was easy to assemble, rides awesome , no complaints . Keep up the good work Mok Wheel !!

I have ordered 2 Basalt bikes. Bike 1 was a simple 4 star experience, after being satisfied with that bike I ordered another. Bike 2 was a no star experience. Bike 1 and bike 2 could not have been handled and built any more different. Bike 1 was calibrated and everything was tight and ready to go aside from general assembly. Bike 2 worked for 5 miles before flashing errors. Assembly found the front disk brake was barely screwed in, fenders looked like they were chopped off the assembly line with a dull knife. Emailed support and waited.....and waited....and waited. Then they called, to get me to do a review(for the 1st bike) and not to help. Kept waiting and called in . Was told to try a few things to check cable connections. Followed up via email and kept waiting, waiting, waiting. Called in and no answer. Called in and help answers, now we are adding shims to the battery bay connections to properly remove the extra play from the battery mount. Turns out the shim fix, which was my idea, was something that seems they do out of the factory. When I informed support they told me that "other customers have had luck putting washers between the parts". As I open up the bay, there's washers galore just sitting in my battery compartment, as if someone didn't take the time to properly install them from the get go. So now I have 10 days of Mokwheel support and e-bike experience to add to my resume. When I asked about why this was the case, I was told "the problem is now fixed and we are sending replacement battery parts". Mind you the battery parts are not the issue, but rather the way they are mounted. Not once did they offer to send it to a bike repair shop to do the work for me, seeing as how this bike basically was shipped broken. In every way this situation was handled was poor. I was the one pushing every troubleshooting step and every communication. They are asleep at the wheel.

Solid bikes, but you play Russian roulette I guess as to how your experience may be...

EDIT: They responded below, stating they reached me by phone....I reached them.....don't get it twisted. Also, how lucky of me to open a brand new bike and be told to basically disassemble every part. Reconnect every connection and thoroughly inspect this bike due to your low quality control. You still can't see the issue, why am I, the customer, having to do all this out of the box? "Actively communicating" is an outright lie, that's all been me communicating with you.

EDIT 2: If you have issues, write a review, they respond in a few hours, even after hours. Versus if you call or open a ticket they don't.

I enjoy my belt driven Flint Pro Sport. Mokwheel was helpful answering my questions on this new style bike. Less shifting and rides like a real bike. It is has been a joy to ride.

I absolutely love my basalt st. I rode it to town 15 miles the other day and the wind picked up with 50 mph gusts and it didn’t even move the bike. The bike arrived in 2 days in great condition well packed, and I received a call a few weeks later checking to make sure everything was working good and that I was happy with the bike. Excellent bike, excellent customer service.

This is by far the coolest bike with the most high tech features I've ever owned. A real joy to ride! The engineers at Mokwheel did a great job on the overall design and styling.
The online ordering process was simple and the bike arrived in great shape. The final assembly was a breeze thanks to the included tools and online tutorials.
I have only one minor issue and that is with the control pad on the handlebar. I wish it were either back-lit or the buttons were highlighted in a bright color for easier visibility. Other than that, I have no complaints and wish to congratulate the fine people at Mokwheel for the great work that you do. Thank you.

I was looking for a new fat tire e-bike and seen a Basalt 2.0 at a local MokwheeI dealer. I liked the quality of the welds and finish but wanted a step over frame. Mokwheel had some great online promos going on so I decided to order the model I wanted. The bike arrived in days without any damage. The Basalt climbs the steep hills around my property easily, shifts and stops much better than last e-bike. Battery life is also far better. I have about 100 miles on the bike now and am very happy with my purchase.

This company has worked with me to get some parts replaced or repaired in a way that was very professional and understanding of my situation. My son has used the full suspension Obsidian model really hard, riding through salted road winters here in Vermont (studed tires). The bike really handles abuse beautifully. Overall, we are highly impressed with both the product and the professionals who stand behind it. Thank you!!

Received my new molwheel bike in 4 days after initial order. Very easy to assemble and was ready to go in less than a hour. Impressed with the quality of the bike especially since this my 4th electric bike . If someone wants a quality bike for a very good price, Mokwheel is the way to go.

Loving my Flint. It was delivered quickly and easy to assemble. I did it myself (female age 64) even though I have never assembled a bike before! It’s comfortable and the baby blue is just the cutest! Loving the pedal assist which had sold me on the e-bike community! I’ve been resisting forever. Customer service was great and the extra points got me a free bag! Definitely recommend:)

The obsidian 2.0 is a great bike. Lots of power and very comfortable duel suspension. I am looking forward to more off road biking now that I can do it with much less effort:)

Mokwheel delivered the features and quality that I wanted at a good price. The bike arrived about 1 week after I ordered it, the bike was relatively straightforward to assemble, and is really fun to ride. I've had no problems with the bike.

I purchased two Basalt 2.0 bikes as a Christmas gift for me and my wife. We took them to Florida for two months, along with a bike trailer and the accompanying tent offered by Mokwheel that we used to bring our senior dog on our rides up and down the beach. The bikes performed splendidly. They were comfortable as transportation on city shopping and restaurant trips, and exhilarating to ride off-road trails through the wilderness. The range of gears combined with levels of pedal assist settings made setting desired speed and effort a breeze. A near effortless ride or a workout level challenge at any speed, are both possible with simple adjustments at my fingertips. We love our bikes!
And we found their service and support even better. I contacted customer support because one of our chargers failed. Within hours, I heard back from Chad, and he walked me through a couple tests, determined I needed a replacement, and sent one on its way the next day.
A great bike made by a great company!

Had the bike for a few months and it is a good bike. I will purchase from them again.
