I have been a Cal.com customer and rely on the product for my business. A core feature on my account stopped working several days ago and I am currently fully blocked from using Cal.com.
What I have tried, with no resolution:
- Multiple emails to support over the past several days — no reply
- Direct outreach to one of the co-founders — no reply
- In-app chat (Intercom) — only gets me to "Calvin," an AI agent that says it has forwarded my message to a teammate. No teammate has followed up.
I understand that support teams can have backlogs, but for a paid scheduling product that businesses build their workflows on, days of silence while a customer is fully blocked is not acceptable. The all-AI front line with no actual human escalation path makes the
situation worse.
I really wanted Cal.com to work for me, but at this point I am actively evaluating alternatives. I will happily update this review if someone from the team actually engages and resolves the issue.

Absolute trash. What kind of “advanced technology” are we even talking about if I’m in Dubai and there isn’t a single timezone option for the United Arab Emirates — no Dubai, no Abu Dhabi, no other UAE emirate in the list. If you even minimize the app for a moment, you have to start everything from scratch again. There’s no text search either, so you’re forced to manually scroll through random cities and regions trying to figure out which timezone matches Abu Dhabi. Mauritius and Armenia, which show up first, aren’t even there either. What kind of technological product is this supposed to be? It’s embarrassing.

The team was able to address an issue/bug in a timely manner and were in communication with me during the process.
Great experience and very intuitive. I am used to another provider and this is almost easier. The support has been wonderful and very responsive.
The Cal.com platform is working very well for my business which requires the ability for customers to book online from remote locations for activities we provide at three locations. Once we established the right set up for my business and got things dialed in we were able to affectively be fully operational to use it. We used a paper calendar as backup until we could learn the control settings. Cal.com is also a reasonable price.
I have two suggestions, one, to be able to charge tax and convenience fees during checkout and two to have the ability for my customers to select and purchase more than one seat during checkout. Currently we found workarounds for those two issues.
Thank you to the support team for helping us with the setup.
Having its support team effectively respond and address queries. That is rare and very high quality that makes it easy to stay with you as I progress to upgrading my account.
Great support who were able to quick to resolve our issue.
Great platform, easy to use, great features at many subscription levels.
Representatives followed up timely with an issue. They brought to engineers to clarify when they needed more help to troubleshoot! 👍
Cal.com is much better then calendly in my experience. Even the free tier gives you so many more tools and options, for smooth workflow. And it seems they actually have humans doing some of their customer support. when I pose a question to their AI, someone emails me back to make sure the issue was resolved.
The best in class! We're using Cal.com at Screen Studio and are very satisfied.
