For almost 25 years, Family Life Academy Charter Schools (FLACS) has stood proudly in the heart of the South Bronx — serving generations of children and families with a simple, unwavering belief: families matter.

Since we opened our first classrooms in 2001, FLACS has grown into five thriving K–12 campuses that lift up students, parents, and educators across one of the most resilient communities in our nation. Through every challenge, our mission has remained clear: create the conditions of self-empowerment so every scholar can excel academically, take ownership of their learning, and affirm human values — in college, career, and life.

Today, our families need us more than ever.

Economic pressures continue to impact households. Our communities still fight for equitable access to quality education. And our students — bright, creative, resilient — are counting on us to meet this moment with purpose.
