What if your idea is strong, but you simply cannot prove it yet? Mayht Technologies is a clear example of how early-stage funding unlocks the next phase of growth. No prototype meant no investors, and without investors there is no next step. They developed breakthrough loudspeaker technology; making speakers ten times smaller, without compromising on sound quality. But like many hardware startups, they needed capital to prove their technology. With UNIIQ’s first investment, they were able to: 🛠️ Build their initial prototypes 📈 Create the foundation for follow-on funding 🚀 Take the next steps towards scaling their technology From there, things started to move. Our webinar this past Wednesday was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a great conversation. One of the key points we discussed is that great research or breakthrough innovation doesn’t automatically mean there’s real market demand. That gap between what’s technically impressive and what people will actually use or pay for is where many scientists struggle when stepping into the startup world. We’re sharing a short snippet from the session. It dives into this idea that innovation doesn’t always equal market fit, and why even the most promising research sometimes needs to be reframed, adapted, or rethought before it becomes a viable product.
