Great evening last night attending the easyJet and easyJet holidays media event at Isabel in Mayfair. Kenton Jarvis gave a rising welcome, clearly enthused by the buoyant year the carrier has had in his first year in charge with new bases - London Southend, Milan Linate and Rome Fiumicino opened, and more to come this year in Newcastle and its first outside of the EU in Marrakesh - its 30th year and more. At Travolution.com we spend a lot of time talking about democratising AI and data but it was the vision of Stellios to democratise travel all those years ago and those poignant words still ring true to this day, as Jarvis shared, some of the first flights were £29 and now 30 years later you can still find flights for under £29 sometimes. Garry Wilson seconded the wind of success with wins storming through the packages arm of the business, such as its £250m profit enjoyed in 2025, its growth to 10% of market share in the UK and its launch into new source markets such as Germany, France and Switzerland.
