We're also excited to welcome Dr. Marcus Smith, a board-certified neurosurgeon with over 15 years of experience, as the clinic’s lead physician. Located on the second floor of TRMC, Advanced Spine Care at Titus offers expert diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of spine and neurological conditions—including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, chronic back and neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and more. Dr. Smith is known for his compassionate care and advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal decompression and stabilization, Kyphoplasty, and the latest non-surgical therapies. A Texarkana native, Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he also completed his internship in general surgery and residency in neurological surgery, including training at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. “We are thrilled to bring world-class spine and neurological care to Titus County,” said Dr. Smith. “Our mission is to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life through advanced, patient-centered neurosurgical care.” “We are focused on providing comprehensive health care to OUR community,” added TRMC CEO Patricia Boeckmann. “This involves bringing new specialists to Titus, offering high-quality care close to home.
