Today’s commute just happens to be a few dozen metres straight up. 📡 👷♂️ B’Jae, one of our tower techs, gave us this quick POV while carrying out maintenance just outside of Brisbane. 😱 A pretty great view, but not a job for the faint of heart!
Appreciate the focus on safety for the rigger. Just a note: the double lanyard should be anchored above the worker rather than horizontally while working on the tower to ensure proper fall arrest protection🌹.
Most of the focus goes to what the tower transmits, rarely to the condition of what's holding it all together up there - how much of the maintenance at this height is preventive versus fault-driven?
I remember travelling to remote sites 100+ km out from the city and climbing 60mtr GBT just to weatherproof the connectors. good old days :D
Wow, i'm swaying just sat in my seat watching! Cracking office you have though!
Good tower...enough space at platform
Ah I miss climbing towers.
Awesome! What would we do without our brave riggers.
Could you handle an office like this? 👀
