We’re thrilled that SSAB steel helped build Helsinki’s new Kruunuvuori Bridge — the longest and tallest bridge in Finland. 🏗️ The Kruunuvuori Bridge is approximately 1,200 metres long, and its central pylon rises to a height of 135 metres. But its most impressive feature isn’t its scale, it’s its purpose: Kruunuvuori Bridge is dedicated solely to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. Zero private cars. The bridge links the city centre to residential areas and includes around 3,000 tonnes of SSAB’s high‑strength steel in its structure, together with driven and drilled steel piles in the foundations.
