We do not accept the wage increase rates imposed by P&G management, which are even below the inflation rate officially reported by TÜİK (Turkish Statistical Institute), in the collective bargaining process we have initiated at the Procter & Gamble (P&G) Gebze Powder Detergent Factory and Şekerpınar Liquid Dishwashing facilities. Our country is experiencing high inflation, and our purchasing power is constantly decreasing. We want to protect our wages. Since the strike began, P&G management has been importing our powder detergent and liquid dishwashing detergent products from abroad. This is sabotage against our strike. We expect P&G management to stop these shipments and respect our strike and our labor. Our health insurance has been cancelled since the strike began. We are not enemies; we are P&G workers. We demand that this wartime behavior cease and that our families' health insurance be reinstated. This strike can be resolved at the negotiating table with our union.
