📢 New factsheet: Improving Staff Access to LGBTQ+ Inclusion Resources Only 50% of health and community care staff participating in the 2026 HWEI Survey were aware of examples of best practice care for LGBTQ+ clients. This factsheet uses a Plan–Do–Study–Act (PDSA) approach to help our members continuously strengthen the impact of their LGBTQ+ resources by ensuring relevance and reach across their organisation. Each month, Pride in Health + Wellbeing invites you to check out our member portal for new content and to provide us feedback on what would help you boost your inclusion efforts. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gFXti2Qr

February marks LGBTQ+ History Month, a time to reflect on progress, recognise ongoing inequalities, and reaffirm our commitment to inclusion. Our Positive Identities has been delivering specialist LGBTQ+ support for over 14 years. During LGBTQ+ History Month, we hosted a Lunch and Learn, an informal session held during lunchtime where people can take part in a short, focused discussion or presentation on a specific topic. Our session explored the history and purpose of the month, why visibility and education remain essential, and how services can better support LGBTQ+ young people. We have also engaged with partners at York College’s LGBTQ+ History Month fayre and the upcoming Well Proud LGBTQ+ Health and Wellbeing Conference.
