Panera once promised 100% cage-free eggs—can you confirm if that’s still the plan? Panera is not being transparent about leaving cruelly sourced eggs out of their products. Your former customers are now buying at Starbucks, Dunkin, Subway and Au Bon Pain--all of which use 100% cage-free eggs. How are you going to fix this?

As a former employee I can say that every thing that was originally Panera Bread has changed and not for the better. The original Panera was all about fresh baked bread daily ensuring that you always got a fresh baked product. They’ve done away with bakers replacing them with associate employees. They no longer bake fresh bread daily.
