Most pulse-survey tools optimize for the dashboard. We optimized for the conversation. A typical pulse survey: weekly prompt → 1–5 rating → sentiment chart for the exec dashboard. The output is a graph. The input is a number someone clicked through on their way to lunch. HushAsk doesn't produce dashboards. It produces threads. Someone sends an anonymous question, HR or the manager replies, the back-and-forth keeps the sender hashed but lets both sides actually talk. The output is a resolved conversation. The input is a real question someone was sitting on. Both have a place. At 800+ people, when an exec asks for quarterly trend data, pulse surveys are the right tool. At 50 people, when you want to know why nobody's pushing back in retros, dashboards don't help. You need the thread. I built HushAsk because I kept seeing the second case treated like it was the first.
