🚴 6 days until Ski To Sea! Today we're featuring our Janicki-made cyclocross and road bicycles. Janicki manufactured the frames, which combine carbon fiber tubes bladder-molded in two-part female tooling with 5-axis machined aluminum lugs, structurally bonded together and finished to aerospace paint standards. Their construction mirrors what Janicki does every day on aerospace programs. 🛩️ An earlier prototype, nicknamed the "Frankenbike", was used to test novel techniques like 3D printed titanium nodes and bladder-molded thermoplastic tubes before the race frames were finalized. The result is a set of lightweight, stylish frames that can be outfitted for either road biking or cyclocross. All other parts are off-the-shelf commercially available bike parts.
