In real-world deployments—like remote power plants, desert construction sites, and busy cargo ports—connectivity is rarely guaranteed. A system relying on a constant cloud connection has a built-in single point of failure. What happens to facility operations when the internet drops for three days?   • Does the attendance capture for your workforce simply stop working?   • Does the central server handle delayed logs syncing after the network returns after several hours and sometimes days? Hoping for a stable connection is not an engineering strategy. The architecture must treat the network as optional. To survive in these harsh environments, the solution needs to:   • Function completely offline: Process faces and identify without a server.   • Store data securely: Hold encrypted biometric logs directly on the edge device.   • Compress the payload: Transmit lightweight data respecting the bandwidth constraints.   • Sync automatically: Push queued data silently when connectivity is restored.
