Five members of the GS2 team are taking on the Dales Way this June—walking over 100 miles in just three days for ResearchSMA. The Reality of SMA: Spinal Muscular Atrophy affects the motor neurons responsible for movement and breathing. Before disease-modifying treatments existed, the life expectancy for most infants was less than two years. Today, children are surviving, but often with significant, lifelong challenges.
