Perovskia Solar engineers high-performance perovskite solar cells that power devices with both indoor and outdoor use. Their customizable panels aim to extend battery life or eliminate the need for batteries in low-power electronics while supporting scalable production and circular economy principles. Louisiana’s energy innovation ecosystem continues to grow. Future Use of Energy in Louisiana recently awarded nearly $1.2 million in proof-of-concept funding to six startups working on next-generation energy solutions across carbon utilization, hydrogen production, carbon capture, and advanced infrastructure. The funded startups include Renovigo Chemicals, Westfield Fluid Controls, Inc., Eray Geophysical, EcoGlobe World, NovaSpark Energy, and Waste to Energy Systems, LLC—each developing technologies designed to help shape the future of energy production and sustainability in Louisiana.
