The period I have worked with FCDE, I believe in the equation #Capacitybuilding+ #LocalVision = #ResilientCommunities. I am a true witness of this. For #WorldMalariaDay 2026, #FCDE 's partnership with #PeaceCorps Supported Kadoth to deliver 150 mosquito nets to expectant mothers. Because Local organizations are the true experts, Outside organizations provide the tools, but local leaders like Kadoth provide the mastery. By shifting power to those who are deeply rooted in their communities, we aren't just delivering supplies but building a future of self-reliance. #WorldMalariaDay #LocallyLed #FCDE #ImpactThatLasts #CommunityLeadership #PartnershipInAction #luqaworld

📖 Our CEO, Elizabeth Ames, and Senior Account Director, Austyn H. Close, were in Oxford last week for the Skoll World Forum and Marmalade Festival (UK). Across multiple events and conversations, one theme stood out: scale matters, but it cannot be achieved by any single institution or organisation, regardless of size. Sustainable, embedded impact at scale depends on connectivity and strong strategic partnerships. Austyn and Elizabeth have pulled out their top three takeaways, drawing on insights from Raquel Mata of Rare Beauty, Richa Gupta of Labhya, Juliette Seban of Fonds d'Innovation pour le Développement, Pavan Sukhdev of GIST Impact, Jenny McInnes of Ostara, Pajani Singah of Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV), and Dr Kevin Carney of the University of Michigan. 🔗 Read the blog at the link in the comments, and explore our latest White Paper which draws out lessons for leaders looking to build partnerships that deliver impact. #AtalantaInsights #SkollWorldForum #MarmaladeFestival #Oxford

What does it take to build strong, resilient rural communities over time? At the EmpowerCF conference, our team joined community foundations and partners from across the region who are doing just that: strengthening local leadership, building community wealth, and investing in the relationships that make long-term progress possible. A few themes stood out: 💫 Community wealth goes beyond dollars: social capital, trust, and relationships are foundational 💫 Process matters as much as outcomes: meaningful work is done with communities, not for them 💫 Capacity building drives real change: not just new skills, but shifts in confidence, mindset, and agency 💫 Local leadership is essential: rural communities know their priorities and are best positioned to shape their future We’re grateful to CommunityGiving and the many rural leaders who are doing steady, thoughtful work to move their communities forward. It’s work that doesn’t always make headlines, but it builds the foundation for lasting impact. As one speaker shared: “When you don’t have a lot of dough, you have to be good yeast.”

The Radak Foundation participated in a transformative youth workshop at Utøya AS space that continues to stand as a symbol of reflection, resilience, and responsibility in shaping the future. This was organized by The Oslo Center in partnership with European Partnership for Democracy (EPD). Bringing together young leaders from diverse backgrounds, the workshop focused on one central question: ✓ how can systems better include, equip, and collaborate with youth in shaping society? Through dialogue, critical thinking, and shared experience, key priorities emerged: ~ Meaningful youth representation in decision-making ~ Investment in media literacy to counter misinformation ~ Support for youth-led innovation ~ Stronger cross-generational dialogue ~ Co-creation between youth and leadership structures These are not just ideas they are actionable pathways toward more inclusive, informed, and sustainable societies. Transforming lives for the future. #RadakFoundation #YouthLeadership #WordsMatter #Inclusion #Governance #FutureOfLeadership

Why does SENSE Institute exist? Because many talented young scholars and practitioners care deeply about today’s environmental and social challenges—but too often lack the support, resources, and collaborative spaces needed to turn ideas into action. Early-career researchers frequently face common barriers: • Limited access to interdisciplinary collaboration • Strong ideas without sufficient funding • Leadership potential without platforms to grow • Research outcomes that remain disconnected from public impact SENSE Institute was created to help change that. We are a nonprofit research organization founded by young scholars and practitioners who believe the next generation should have more opportunities to lead, collaborate, and create meaningful impact. Our mission is not only to advance research, but also to translate research into real-world action through programs, partnerships, public engagement, and applied innovation. We believe better research can create better futures. And better futures can inspire better research. This is only the beginning. We are grateful for everyone who has supported us so far, and excited to continue building this community together. Follow us for upcoming opportunities, collaborations, and programs. #Research #Nonprofit #Climate #Innovation #Leadership #SocialImpact #YoungScholars
