🚨 The Truth About Big Digital Marketing Courses Many famous digital marketing courses look great from the outside, but most of them are just show-offs. They charge big money, give shiny certificates, and promise job placements - but after finishing, students still can’t do real work or find a proper job. Why? Because they teach only theory, not real hands-on practice. Students never get to handle live campaigns, real clients, or real results. Remember this: You don’t learn digital marketing by watching videos. You learn it by doing real work. Before joining any course, ask these questions: 1. Will I work on real client projects or only practice examples? 2. Will I learn to run real ads on Google and Meta? 3. Will I get access to real ad accounts and analytics tools? 4. Who are the trainers — actual working professionals or just teachers? 5. How many students actually got jobs — can I see proof? 6. Do you give internship opportunities or just a certificate? 7. Can I talk to old students and ask about their experience? 8. If I don’t get a job, will you still support me with training or updates? A certificate won’t build your career. But I quickly realized it’s the habits you build every day that make the biggest difference. Here are the 3 habits that accelerated my growth! 1️⃣ Consistent Learning The digital space changes daily. I made it a habit to read, watch, or try something new every day whether it was SEO tips, ad trends, or case studies. 2️⃣ Proactive Execution Instead of waiting for instructions, I took initiative. Testing ideas, creating drafts, and suggesting improvements helped me learn faster and show ownership. 3️⃣ Time Management Balancing multiple tasks taught me the value of planning. Any student can claim a headline like this — so it's a wasted opportunity to stand out. Headline is a critical piece of your LI presence: • It shows in your profile, posts, comments, DMs, etc. • It helps recruiters find you on LI Recruiter searches • It is highly visible in your connection requests In short, it plays a major role in the first impression you make. So don't use it to highlight just your institution — use it to highlight YOU and your unique value proposition. Do you have an internship? Do you have relevant certifications? Do you have industry-specific skills? Is there something else that makes you unique? Those are the details you want to include. Your goal is to stand out, not to blend in. From shy Year 12 student… to thriving marketing apprentice 🚀 Two years ago, I didn’t know what I wanted after school. Apprenticeships felt intimidating, and I doubted whether I was “ready” at all. Here’s what helped me shift my mindset and what I hope can help others: 💡 Start before you feel ready – waiting for “perfect timing” only slows you down. Every application, every message, every interview is practice. 💡 Research & reflect – look into companies and roles to understand what excites you. Ask yourself: Does this align with my values and interests? 💡 Network intentionally – reach out to current apprentices and professionals. Most people are happy to share advice, and these conversations can be more valuable than any online resource. 💡 Reframe rejection – it’s not failure. Each “no” brings you closer to the right opportunity and helps you grow.
