Our CPHR Difference Member Spotlight is with Sonya Merrick, CPHR, Human Resources Manager at Intact Insurance!    Sonya shared the following with us:   “Being a CPHR is meaningful to me because it represents a long-term commitment to practising HR with integrity, sound judgment, and strong professional standards. This month marks 22 years as a CPHR, along with many years of experience advising leaders across complex people and business priorities. I value the credibility the designation brings and the trust it helps build with leaders and employees, especially when navigating complex, high-impact decisions.    In my role, I partner strategically with business leaders to align people priorities with organizational goals. I focus on providing practical, thoughtful HR guidance across end-to-end people support, talent development, and change management, helping leaders build capability, strengthen teams, and deliver sustainable results through people.
