Grateful to serve District 1. Today I visited Child Start in District 1. Thank you to Tanya Bulluck for the invitation. I heard directly from parents how access to quality childcare is changing lives and easing real burdens. Childcare is a workforce issue and local government has a role. From zoning to investment, we can remove barriers and expand access. It makes a difference when the city makes investments in the whole family. That’s why I’ll keep fighting for paid family leave for our city staff and push for bold action on childcare.
