My name is Holly. I work within the construction materials industry here at CMC Partners, so my role focuses on connecting top talent within the ready mix, concrete, asphalt, cement and aggregate industries, all within the US market. A typical day in the life. I'll get to the office before 9:00, be doing all of those admin tasks, replying to all of those emails, getting emails out for the day as well as getting candidate generation so I'm ready for calls for the afternoon soon. As you know, 12:00 hits pretty much on the phone back-to-back until God knows what time could be pretty late working US hours, but a lot of phone time. Just really speaking to candidates mostly getting their interest in vacancies that could be anything from operations roles, sales roles, you name it. Lots and lots of phone time is most of what my day of the life would look like. My favorite thing about recruitment at CMC for one would be the culture and the people that I'm working with. There's never really a dull day in the office. Everyone's always high spirits and the energy is high. Hearing everyone on the phone, just trying to get the best deals possible. As always, really motivating and helps push you along as well. Also just love being responsible for my own desk and having the opportunity to really, you know, be responsible for my. And success at CMC. It's really nice, just, you know, the harder you work, the more outcome and the more money you're going to see at the end of the day as well. So that's I guess the most part that I enjoy here.
