First class !!!seriously... here is the my first class experience with Avis . I dropped the car at Munich Airport, officer told me to leave the keys in car and go because there were so many cars no enough space no enough officer. I did what I was told so. And then I receipt an invoice charging one more extra Day showing one hour later than my drop time. I sent an email to customer service on 15th July asking for correction. And I received a first class response today ( 6th August, almost a month later) asking for fuel receipt or boarding pass. Thanks avis great customer satisfaction.

A review of public feedback on the Google Maps listing for “Avis Autovermietung – Flughafen Basel” reveals that this issue has gone far beyond isolated incidents. Many travelers report unauthorized credit card charges after returning their vehicles — often without any signed documentation, inspection, or explanation. This is no longer just a customer service issue — it’s a reputational and legal risk for the brand. As someone who has also experienced this, I urge Avis Budget Group to take these complaints seriously. Transparency matters. So does accountability

Is there any recommended way to contact Avis Budget to discuss an unsubstantiated claim from your team in Glasgow? Should I go old school and write a letter? Carrier pigeon perhaps? Morse code? After 2 weeks of trying e mail and phone (my record is 40 minutes on hold) I am going to invoice your company for my time plus the telephone costs I have incurred being on hold hoping that someone somewhere will answer

Avis Budget Group I have been renting cars from you since 2007 and you have been my preferred choice so I am hoping someone from your team can assist with an issue that began in August when Avis failed to check-in a car that I returned. I've been in contact with Loss Prevention and Customer Support since 30 Sep without any resolution. I am owed over $1911 and unable to rent a car from your company, which is unfortunate since I travel about 1 to 2 weeks a month for business.

I don’t expect more but I do expect to hear from Avis urgently as to why they took £335.96 from my bank for the hire of car reg no. LD25UWU when I had already paid £302.14 for the same car and for the same hire period.  I have emailed Avis but have yet to receive a meaningful response.   The car was returned with 75% charge and undamaged.
