Every week leading up to AIF, we spotlight standout teams from this year’s student design competition. Team 1 at Rubika delivered exactly what you’d expect—and then pushed far beyond it. Taking on the delicate legacy of Ferrari’s iconic Breadvan, they reinterpreted it through a bold deconstructivist lens. The result: a prancing horse unlike anything you’ve seen before—provocative, unconventional, and impossible to ignore. True to standards, execution was flawless. Craftsmanship and presentation were impeccable. The concept? Wild and pushing the edge. One notable gap: while not mandatory, this year’s student-defined benchmark saw all finalists include interiors. Still, this is what design education is about: risk, experimentation, and rewriting expectations. Thank you, Rubika - we’re looking forward to what you do next. Keep being fearless! #alias #vred #designeducation #aif26
